Me and my wife started a claim in june they didn't take payment out for two months and then took three payments out without letting us know, and they took one of the payments early which made the payments bounce as it was close to pay day, then went in again with any notice and the same thing happened. Then got a cancelation notice if we dont pay close to 1000$ in a three week span! This is due to thier lack of communication and everything else

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Money keeps getting taken out for a cancelled policy, making a claim has been an absolute nightmare and now I'm missing hundreds of dollars. I also was offered a settlement, agree to the amount, and was sent a document to sign for a different amount than agreed. Avoid at all costs

One of my services which is included in my policy is snow plowing.
After so many years of serving clients, Wawanesa is now changing the snow plowing policies to not permit me from plowing churches, almost all types of commercial.
Snow plowing is the closest thing to being an essential service. Wawanesa is charging through the roof for snow plowing. The passing of Bill 118 by the Ontario Government did absolutely nothing to help our industry, instead, Wawanesa is just going in the opposite direction as to what Bill 118 was to help. Bill 118 would have given me a chance to see lower rates, this is what the plan was.
The cost of insurance with Wawanesa is about to see me shut down my snow plowing, the cost of insurance with Wawanesa is the reason.
Wawanesa, you need to come up with better pricing, stop harassing us small businesses with the un-needed hardship of your rates.
