It was originally known as the Western Institute for The Deaf and Hard of Hearing. ( aka WIDHH or Western Institute.)
When WIDHH recently moved to its Quebec St location, they changed their name to Wavefront.
The quality of the service that I receive there is fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you one and all for helping my brother Don hear the world with his new hearing aids, it is like having a very old car that runs, they work but don't do much else.
Now he can answer the phone and listen to music without having to take out his aids and as he adjusts to these wonderful devices, we can add more to his life with other app's and his enjoyment of the world around him will increase.
Glad to be living in a society were there are services like Western Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to help people like my brother who never asks for much such a wonderful modern pair of hearing aids and Revenue Canada for his tax refund which helped pay his portion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Take care in the underground parking. The entrance is very narrow and tight to go down. There is only 1 ramp for entrance and exit. The parking stalls are small and tight to get out of. The building is beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Wavefront as I had been given the non-profits name as a referal by the St. Pauls hearing specialist...more testing than I have seen anywhere, including both hospitals testing, very professional care!
after trying Nexgen, I was astonished how much was involved in testing and fitting hearing aids properly! I think that saved me a lot of time and agravation in the long run....Thanks'

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an exceptional experience today when I got my hearing tested. The staff were welcoming. Dr. Yinda Lin was patient, thorough, and explained things very clearly for me. If you have any questions about your hearing, I highly recommend a visit to Wavefront.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally unsure as to why these people are a “non profit.” They deal in name brand hearing aids and send faulty hearing aids to manufacturer for repair. I can walk into a Connect Hearing or whatever and get the same thing. I was also not even offered a viable solution for my 98 year old mom’s broken hearing aid. They also don’t work directly with an coverage. Why are our taxes going to these guys again? Utterly useless.
