Walmart Supercentre

This is the last time I will be shopping at this Walmart. I've seen cadavers move faster than their checkout staff and better in-stock rates in ex-Soviet nations. Now they won't even supply regular shopping bags. After all the terrible customer service and out of stock items I won't be coming back here ever again.

I shop here three or more times per week. Pros: Friendly staff, good prices, good selection due to size. Cons: Often no baskets at entrance, earth-shattering volume on PA system, prices missing, always pushing Mastercard and donations.

This Walmart, located in the Queensborough area in SW New Westminster, is one of the larger locations with a great variety and selection of items. For those who are a little hungry, there's a McDonald's Express at the front of the store. Staff are very helpful in providing directions to the section of interest. The parking lot in front has a greater number of spaces. I'm planning a return trip to check out what's in this store...definitely a good place for a good shopping trip.

This location has gotten worse over the years. I used to be a regular shopper here until they started hiring new useless staff. They have hired mostly all foreign workers who can't speak/communicate throughly in English, they lack knowledge and basic customer service skills. I find most of the cashiers at this location to be very rude and hostile, especially if there is a price error or other issues at the till. The managers at this location are also very useless and the issues never get resolved even after I've voiced my concerns to them. I've also noticed that there are issues with their pricing each time I've been here. The shelf price is always different than the scanned price. When there are price errors the cashiers accuse you of lying or telling you that "someone made a mistake" without being accountable for their own mistakes. They also never apologize for wasting your time for their own mistakes. The cashiers will also try to refuse the Scanner price accuracy unless you ask them to call their manager. Further, the cashiers here always make a big deal if you use your coupons and will call other employees/supervisors to resolve the "issue" for them. Most of the staff are very lazy and will talk to other employees in their own language. Each time I've asked for help, I've felt like an inconvenience for "interrupting" their conversations with each other. I'm not sure why they have so much staff just walking around and killing time. They should be cleaning up their disorganized shelves instead. Most of the foreign employees lack basic hygiene. Each time I've walked by some of them, they smell like BO and this is very unprofessional, especially in a big business like Walmart. The manager of this location should stop hiring ONLY foreign workers from India and give other people from other backgrounds a chance as well.

This location is great to visit during the week mid day. Lots of parking. Quiet inside the store and generally full shelves and fresh chicken!

Nicest staff of any other location I've visited. Shelves were a bit bare in some places, but that's not there fault. It was clean and pretty empty when I was there, ( Monday 10am) so was nice to shop not all congested with people. I can't remember my cashier's name, but she was super awesome, she was selling donuts and I happily bought some off of her. Because yum yum who doesn't love donuts?! And she's a lovely person.

I have lived next to this store for four years Buy all home essentials here Their prices are good compared to other stores The place is very large and parking is well available. There is a McDonald's branch inside, and there is also an ATM machine and a key-copying machine I recommend it to all people

Fairly typical Walmart, but has a forgian foods section which includes Mexican and South American hot sauces and juices. Like every Walmart they don't update their multi items sales, so make sure you check the receipt. Update for this walmart- shelves are always empty. At first I blamed this on the pandemic, but 2 years in very other store has stocked shelves except for this Walmart. Staff are beyond useless, but to be expected.
