I recently purchased a new Volkswagen Taos from VW Richmond Hill and had exceptional service with the sales staff. Our sales representative Christian Wichtler along with the new car manager Neil Pelling provided exceptional service and product knowledge about the Volkswagen product/brand. We felt very comfortable and at ease with the entire sales experience as everything was thoroughly presented to us with full understanding of what we were purchasing. My wife and I would highly recommend this dealership to friends and family as we will be coming back for future servicing/purchases.

I was very lucky to meet smart and considerate Ferdinand in VW Richmond Hill and after a short conversation, I decided immediately booked my car. The designated color was very popular this year so he took some effort to get it for me from the other city. My old car was traded in as well uner Ferdinand's arrangement so I am able to drive my new car within a week. Everything is perfect and I am satisfied about the service. The delivery day was a heavy raining day and I was taking my toddler daughter with me. Ferdinand accomdated me signing ducument in my car so my daughter could continuing her sleeping in car seat...So much appreciated, Ferdi! All the best!

I bought my vehicle at this location a few weeks ago and I've never experienced such phenomenal customer service. Nadeem was my sales representative and he was fantastic. Very pleasant, patient, genuine, and helpful every step of the way. I 100% recommend to see Nadeem for any purchases on a vehicle. Kathy was also great. She really made me feel comfortable in helping me understand all my options without any pressure. This team truly loves what they do, and their main objective is to make their customers happy. Highly recommend.

I went here to get a recall fixed on my vehicle. I have been thinking about a new vehicle, so while I waited I asked to see a sales rep. He seems uninterested in talking with me. Didn’t really tell me any details of cars. He just kind of answered my questions bluntly. I felt extremely uncomfortable. I left to another dealership when my car was finished and had a wonderful experience, I wasn’t really sure why he gave me such a hard time. I also should mention that after they fixed whatever in my car; my ac made an awful screeching noise for weeks.

REPLY: YOU DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO ASSIST WITH CORROSION OF BRAKE ROTORS OR THE ISSUE WITH THE BRAKES YOU'VE BEEN MADE AWARE OF. PLEASE DON'T LIE!!! Initial Review: I leased VW Tiguan 2019 from VW Richmond Hill and brought it for Regular Maintenance 2 times at 14294km and 23813km marks. Both of those regular (required) services done included Brake Inspection. At the first inspection it was supposed to be thorough inspection done, as per notes on the invoice. Both of the inspections fulfilled have found zero issues with the brakes, as per Vehicle Multi Point inspections Sheets attached to both of the invoices. Initial service report at 14294 km (that is less than 20000km and being covered under Limited New Vehicle warranty) found NO issues with the vehicle and stated that brake pads are 10 and 8mm and are in great shape and there were no concerns or issues with the vehicle or brakes reported to a customer. Second Service Report at 23813 noted only SLIGHT Corrosion on Rear Brake Rotors and marked pads thickness between 4-7 on the rear and 8-12 on the front. Everything is evenly worn and NOTHING requires replacement. NO concerns or comments were made that breaks have issues and need to be addressed. Vehicle has been put back on the road with NO issues and with breaks marked as 50% used. (at 14294 - brand new pads, at 23813 - 50% used, where normal wear and tear (and replacement interval) of PADS is 60000km, as noted by your Service Manager). Since there was a noise noted after the service done 200km before at VW Richmond Hill coming from a break and they refused to address the issue through the warranty, after talking to me over the phone (Lauranne Tanghe, Service Manager) and after checking pictures i sent her, i've brought vehicle to Canadian Tire and got it inspected there by independent licensed technician. The result: inspection done at 25097km mark (1284km since it was OK'd at your dealership after the last inspection) and the results of the inspection are: Rear Brake pads: 0mm Drivers Side, 3.2mm passenger side. Recommendation: "BRAKES NEED TO BE REPLACED DUE TO PADS ARE WORN OUT AND ROTORS ARE HEAVILY RUSTED AND PADS ARE NOT TOUCHING TOTAL SURFACE OF ROTOR. RECOMMENDS: CALIPER, if necessary; PADS, ROTORS". I've made you aware of such an inspection done and provided Lauranne with the copy of the inspection done at CanadianTire. I've been refused to get the issue addressed through the Warranty after that as well. VW Canada - backed up her decision as well. So What we have at the end of the day. Vehicle HAS NOT BEEN properly inspected at VW Richmond Hill at 14294km mark, where the issue could be addressed through the warranty, if found and reported by a service technician. If they had professionals working there and doing their job properly, we won't have those issue or complaints through various organizations open right now. It could be found and fixed at the early stages of the issues, where it might only needed defective work of calipers addressed or defective parts replaced with a good ones. Now, at this stage, it requires extensive break work to be done due to VW Richmond Hill Service Department Negligence! OK, i might understand that Erik Hoffner (service technician) decided to cut corners and NOT to do a proper initial inspection of a vehicle that had low mileage (14294km) and should not have any issues, but what happened on the second service appointment, where inspection was done by Kurtis Mcbride, that did exactly the same and have not found or indicated ANY issues with the worn out breaks?! So based on my experience with your dealership: They either don't have professionals working in there, that cut corners while performing a maintenance on the vehicle or they do it on purpose trying to make more money pushing unnecessary services for OUT OF WARRANTY to a customer, making money to themselves, dealership or dealership owner. In either case they put my life in danger by sending me from a dealership with the obvious brake issues, stating that there are NONE! Customers/Consumer BEWARE!!!

My purchase experience of my brand new Tiguan was very easy and enjoyable! We did most of the transaction via FaceTime and Ray was very informative and quick to find us exactly what we needed. From a great sales experience to dealing with Kathy in finance, she was very helpful and navigated the process of purchasing the vehicle for my corporation. The pick up was simple and quick. I can't say enough about this dealership, particularly Christian Whitchler who helped me buy my new car and gave me honest advice during the process -- due to some financial issues he then worked over time into the evenings to help find me any and all options to lower my payments and look at every option for me to keep my vehicle / find a new suitable vehicle. The whole team went above and beyond while buying the car and helping me out when I needed it! Every service I've come in for also has been quick with very friendly knowledgeable staff. Thanks guys!

We recently bought out our old car and leased a new one at VW Richmond hill. The experience was seamless and efficient. Robert was a wonderful salesperson who helped us get what we want all while being transparent about the state of affairs in the car world right now. Kathy was lovely to deal with and made the financial process/paperwork side of things so easy. Would highly recommend this dealership!
