β β β β β I cannot express enough appreciation for Melody at Vista Realty. I had a somewhat complicated situation, a foreign student who needed housing in Vancouver for a year. A single phone call to Melody, and an explanation of the situation, led to Melody finding a perfect housing situation for the student, along a convenient transportation line, and at an affordable price. She bent over backwards to work with us, even dealing with the international aspects of the transaction. Though the student was studying in Canada (out of their country) and dealing with numerous stresses, the apartment and the entire transaction leading to it, was entirely stress free and made the experience a pleasure.

β β β β β Very bad experience with Vista Realty. Due to their lack of communication skills and cultural unawareness, we lost a very good tenant. We now not only need to replace the tenant, but also now need to find a new property management company who can do their job properly.

β β β β β I am writing this review as a tenant who rented from Vista Realty (as landlord) for the past 4+ years. I have enjoyed my home I can attest that Melody and the rest of the Vista team were contributing factors to this, being as they were prompt and professional in all interactions. I have had several routine maintenance requests (fridge service, request for reimbursement for painting supplies, etc.) that were quickly followed up with by email, and with whatever tradesperson calling to set up appointments to my home soon after. Melody is always friendly and provides personalized service. There was a time in which she called me when I received a strata fine from my building (which was simply a mix up between unit #s) and I was easily able to explain the situation with her. I felt heard and understood- which provided peace of mind to me as a renter. Upon moving out, I received my damage deposit in a timely manner as well.

β β β β β Wayne and Maryam are professionals who are excellent at their jobs. Wayne in particular went over and above to help my wife and I when our apartment block caught fire and we had to find new accommodation in a hurry. A very well run professional agency that I would recommend to anybody.

β β β β β The most unprofessional property managers Iβve ever had the displeasure of working with! I was mortified when Maryam followed me around my unit insulting my cleanliness and snapping pictures while I was still finishing the cleaning! One of my movers cancelled last minute, and Maryam irresponsibly scheduled the new tenants to move in ONE HOUR after I moved out.
They tried to coerce me into paying their own in-house industrial cleaners (you are not obligated to do so) inclining me first to believe that I wouldnβt be able to end a lease before paying Vista Cleaners.
They made clear errors on returning my security deposit, over one month later Iβve had to threaten a dispute to get them to spell my name correctly on the deposit. Avoid at all costs!!!

β β β β β Vista Realty managed a rental property for us for 10 years. Wayne and his co-workers were great to work with. They found us a fabulous tenant and dealt with any issues, such as broken appliances, quickly and with no fuss. When we had queries, they always replied promptly. I have recommended Vista to many people and will definitely contact them if we should once again be landlords.
