I have always found them exremley professional, knowledgeable, responsive and available to help. I have been on the Strata Council for my Strata for over 2 years now and our Property Manager, Von Bircic, has been excellent and I'm very grateful to have him to work with as our building has had many struggles and we're coming out of it better then ever!
B	Brent G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our building came to Stratawest after terminating our contract with a severely incompetent company hired by the original developer. This particular property management company ended up being investigated (and sanctioned) by the Real Estate Council of BC. The experience made us very cautious about who we worked with going forward. We settled on Stratawest after meeting with several management companies and we've been quite happy with their work over the last 12 years. I'm an active member of council and as such I have regular dealings with our current Stratawest property manager, Ian Osman. We did have another manager years ago that was fine, but soon after the ownership of Stratawest changed, Ian took over our file and he is simply excellent. Ian is everything you want and need in a manager. I find him knowledgeable, very reliable, and a total professional. I can easily reach him when needed and over the years he has been extremely helpful guiding us through complex issues as well as the everyday items that a strata encounters. It is primarily through my relationship with Ian that I judge Stratawest as a whole. However, I should say that the few times we've had reason to involve Cory Pettersen (president) with an issue that Ian and council couldn't solve on our own, Cory was responsive and helped find a solution. Running a strata, or being a property manager, can be really difficult at times. Having a property manager like Ian is so important to keep things working well. We're very happy to have Ian working with us since we know that an excellent property manager (and management company) isn't always easy to find.
R	Ron Parpara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to take the time to commend Jason Kurtz as he's one of the best strata managers I've ever dealt with. I've been a realtor for 12+ years and 6 years as a rental PM and have dealt with hundreds of strata managers. Jason is super helpful, very knowledgable and extremely professional in his line of work. He responds quickly and gives you the actual answers you are looking for, whereas most stratas usually just tell you to read the documents or rarely respond in a timely manner. We were able to facilitate a quick and smooth sale at Central with the help of Jason. The building is run really well and I will always recommend Mr. Kurtz for any future strata management opportunities. Thanks for all your help!

Our building had a horrible experience with the last property management company and we are so happy to have Stratawest. All property management companies in Vancouver are over run with work, considering this reality none of them are perfect, however, we have found Stratawest to be super organized and proactive when it comes to getting stuff done. Definitely a preferred contractor to have on your side.

Paper documents, no e-transfer payment and to top it off in their terms of conditions for the PAD agreement they make you waive all rights to getting a 10 day notice before any increases or decreases in fees.

Once I was on council, later to become president, I dealt almost exclusively with our manager, Ian Osman, from Stratawest. With Ian’s help and guidance the job became seamless. Then we moved to a different condo building. I was asked to join council again and I refused unless they changed management companies. They agreed that they would so I was signed up. The company that we were with was based in Florida so they had no real knowledge or concern for our needs here in BC. At my urging, Stratawest was signed on so once again I am working with Ian. And once again, the job is seamless with his help. I would urge any strata that may be shopping for a new management company to consider Stratawest. And they are LOCAL!

Property managers came and went on a regular basis and no one seemed to know what they were doing. We even spoke with senior management and saw absolutely no improvement. We decided that we needed to make a change and sought recommendations and then interviewed three companies. We chose Stratawest and it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Stratawest is professional, informed and hard working. They are great communicators, which is critical. We have had two property managers since we've been with them, and both have been absolutely excellent. The world of condo ownership can be confusing and you need to have professionals on your side, so that being on a strata council is as stress-free as possible. I can't recommend Stratawest highly enough in this regard.
