VIP Mazda and Jas were amazing. Jas was on the ball and got me everything I was looking for. Got in the new Maxda CX-50 quicker then I thought imaginable. The whole staff and experience was great. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a new car.

We purchased a 2016 cx5 from a different dealership. We were told before purchase that it was in a previous rear end accident but the repairs were basic and that Mazda had gone over all the repairs and everything was repaired to the highest of standards. We had underground parking for the first year of ownership. Once we moved we found out that the vehicle leaks through the rear hatch. We woke up to 4” of water through the vehicle. Every seal, from the spoiler to the lights and emblem had failed. We go quoted over 2500$ for repairs. After a lot of back and forth and waiting to hear back from the original dealership, they were able to assist us. Luckily the good people at vip Mazda helped us out as well, and managed to fix our issues in a timely fashion. We were able to discount the price. As a young family with a newborn this has been a very stressful situation for us. Thank you vip Mazda for your help. And a big thank you to Vik, awesome guy !!

We bought a new Mazda 3 GT Sport from VIP Mazda in 2016. All of the scheduled maintenance (including brakes) over 5 years was done, on time, at VIP except the last one when we decided, during the pandemic, to spend $280 instead of $600 for new plugs and an oil change. Months and 1000kms later there was a catastrophic engine failure (rod through the block). The car had 114k kms on it. VIP, predictably, blamed the failure on the last service saying that the engine did not have enough oil. The last service was performed by a licensed mechanic at a reputable garage. There was no indication leading up to the breakdown that the engine was low on oil. The low oil pressure light did not go on and there was no noise (lifters or anything else) from the engine. I've been driving cars for almost 40 years. I would have noticed something if the oil was so low that it would throw a rod. Every mechanic that I have talked to that doesn't work for Mazda agrees that there would have been some noise. VIP Mazda did absolutely nothing for us. After a 5 year relationship they turned their backs on us entirely. Mazda Canada said, in a letter, that VIP was willing to work with us to help with the cost of the engine replacement. This was never communicated to us by VIP Mazda. It's not under warranty anymore...I get it but they could have done something to help us out. Worst experience I have ever had with a dealership. Mike Update on the 2016 Mazda GT Sport; Upon further inspection of the engine that failed. It is quite clear what happened. A bolt from the crankshaft bearing cap failed. The head broke off and was pushed through the aluminum block by the connecting rod. You can see (in picture 1) the failed bolt. Probably a poor casting but a factory flaw nevertheless. You can see (in picture 2) how the bottom of the connecting rod was scored when it caught the bolt head and pushed it through the side of the engine. Had your Mazda Canada Certified Master Technician (clearly one step below astronaut) bothered to spend just 30 minutes more, he too would have discovered the problem. Instead, you blamed it on another garage and said it wasn't lubricated properly (or over filled with oil...it's confusing since you can't get your story straight). Bottom line, it was a factory defect and you guys lied to Mazda Canada about offering to help us in any way.

I took my car to VIP Mazda for a recall repair. The staff was friendly and professional and the service advisor was on time for my appointment. The repair was made in the time promised and my car had protective covers on the seat, floor and steering wheel. It was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to get service on their Mazda.

I've mentioned the same on the survey too but will not hesitate to praise VIP Mazda again! We had a truly fantastic and seamless experience right from sales to finance to insurance to drive out! All of this was made easy by Pat, who was extremely kind, helpful and patient with all questions and went above and beyond to help us drive out the vehicle of choice in just 2 days! Not just Pat but absolutely everyone else we interacted with here were so warm, caring and gave the feeling of that personal touch, especially for people like us who came all the way from Burnaby. I would highly recommend VIP Mazda to anyone looking out for a great dealership.
