Une expertise de la petite reine qui n'a pas besoin d'être prouvée, un sens du contact très agréable et des tarifs justes. Ce fut un réel plaisir d'avoir fait affaire avec vous pour l'entretien de mon vélo. Merci encore.
An expertise of the little queen that does not need to be proven, a very pleasant sense of contact and fair prices. It was a real pleasure to have done business with you for the maintenance of my bike. Thanks again.

Super service!

Friendly and competent staff, professional work and good prices. Any work done is quality controlled and, given the size of the business, very quick. I've only been in the neighborhood for two years, but Vel'aube has quickly become my go-to local bike shop. It has become apparent from my own experience and from witnessing the owner Yves interact with other clients, that he knows his stuff and doesn't beat around the bush. If you want to buy parts or cycling gear, you get all the info you need to make an informed decision, and if you need repairs, you know exactly what those repairs will entail and what price range you can expect. AND he'll never suggest work that doesn't need to be done, so you get exactly what you need and only what you need. They won't try to milk you for cash with extra unnecessary procedures. Chances are you'll even come out of the shop knowing more about your bike than you did before. The same goes for sales: I recently decided to purchase a Garmin cycling computer, and Yves strongly suggested I get a less expensive model than the one I originally wanted, telling me that the extra features weren't worth it. While they don't stock much, being a small shop, they can and will make custom orders at a good price. I couldn't understand how he made profits off the purchase of my Garmin, which had to be ordered and which I purchased, as far as I can tell, at the same price I would have paid buying it directly from Garmin. If you value honesty and can wait a few days for your order to come in, there's no reason you shouldn't be shopping here. This is an exceptional bike shop. It's no wonder it's been alive and well for the past 36 years!

I just went in there with my 4-year-old son to look for a trailer for a bike and check out their helmets. An older couple was behind the till. Once the lady said that they didn't have any it was apparent and they really didn't seem to care whether I did any business with them or not. Out of curiosity I told them what is your specialty here and they looked at me like I had said something insulting. I proceeded to tell them I haven't visited your store before it's my first time here. The man says I've got some helmets that start at $65... I let him know that the helmets weren't really my personal style. Silence followed. Anyway bottom line is the store doesn't have any stock and the people working there don't seem to care to help you find what you're looking for even if they might need to refer you somewhere else. My advice is check out a different spot ?

The best bike shop in the quartier. Whether you are looking for extremely high end (their specialty is marinoni) or a just a water bottle, they treat you with the same level of attention and ensure that you find what you need. Their repair shop is also excellent! Many thanks for the great work.
