★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AMAZING service since walking in the door. The lady even offered us a free taste of her delicious smoothie. The food was very, very good and I’m pleased it was all vegan!! Definitely recommend, the staff was so friendly and food was amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sarah and her staff are incredible! As a first-time visitor with zero knowledge of the menu items, I totally lucked-out with this little restaurant. Sarah explained everything, and wow! the dishes we ordered were fantastic! The restaurant is super-clean, and yes, even in the back. Sarah was kind enough to let me use her private bathroom and everything in the back was gleaming and glistening. Their prices are in the same era as the awesome music they play overhead - the 70s! Where else in this city will get a beautiful and heaping Indian meal for two with dessert for $40?? I love this restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my most favorite places to eat in the city, makes me so sad that I live more than 20 mins away. Excellent staff with huge hearts! And they are very accommodating if you have any dietary restrictions. Will be coming back, again and again and again :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service at this restaurant is absolutely incredible. Sehra really makes you feel at home and ensures you are taken care of. The food is somehow even better than the service - the portions are very good for the price, and I took half my meal home for later. The cupcakes are also incredible. Will be back again next time I’m in Calgary!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's tricky enough to open a restaurant that specializes in desi food. It's trickier still to make it completely vegan. And it's even more tricky to have that food actually taste good. The charming owner of Veg-In YYC manages to achieve all three of those things. This is a nice, family run place that will always make me feel comfortable.
PS: If you feel overwhelmed by the options, I recommend you start with the samosas. They are delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently moved to the city from Toronto and I can easily say that the pulled jackfruit burger was probably the best vegan dish I’ve ever tried! Portions are huge, gluten-free friendly, and on top of that very caring and friendly service. Can’t wait to explore the menu some more. Easy 5 stars!
