Exceptional drinks, in house made simple syrups, bitters and garnishes that take the drinks from great to exceptional. Views are incredible, quite impressed with with selection of unique appetizers. Steak offerings are pretty standard, nothing notable there. I would return to try the pasta dishes or duck main.

Absolutely wonderful! I have had the wonderful opportunity to eat here a few times now and honestly I have not had anything I have not loved. The service is fantastic, the views are spectacular and the food is world class. One of my favorite things is to read the wine menu I know this sounds odd but the sommelier is amazing and he does all the write ups in it and my personal favorite description on the menu last time was "A slather of ground rock over your shaggy wool sweater" the write ups change often and they are a true treat. I swear he should offer wine tastings as I would go just for the descriptions alone! I absolutely love them so much! If you have the opportunity I highly recommend Major Tom's as it is a truly wonderful experience and you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely delicious, it’s such a nice feeling when a restaurant meets my expectations. I had various friends recommending and talking about this place, so we finally checked it out tonight. The food was super yummy and cooked very well, every single dish was very flavourful and the portion sizes were just right. Although I found the brussel sprouts a tad too salty and the oysters were kind of fishy, granted they were raw, so maybe it’s suppose to be that way? Regardless, everything was very well made overall and my favourite had to be the honey glazed pork belly, as well as the wagyu beef. The service was phenomenal, we were able to switch our table to one with a better view and the servers come over to check up on us several times. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the view was a novelty, would definitely come back here again. But probably not on a busy night, we lucked out and it was a slow Thursday. A con would be that parking is a bit of a hassle. To get to the restaurant from the main parking lot that’s in the same building, you need to exit from the stairwell and re-enter the building through the lobby. To get back to the parking lot from the restaurant, it is only accessible through the service elevator. Which is not fully constructed and very shabby, then you have to go past large garage bins and walk to the parking spots that are a floor down using the ramp for cars. Overall, that was a struggle. Might be easier using a different parking garage, but I had very high heels and did not want to walk far.

Went here for an anniversary dinner. The food was good however the service was poor. Everything started out fine as they brought out our drinks and appetizer quickly however once the main course came out it went downhill for the quality of service. For example, we had a missing part of our order and no one came to see how our meal was until we were done. When we informed of the missing item they offered to provide it after our main course was done. We refused as it was too late. No one from the restaurants management team came to apologize for it being missed. The view of the city at this restaurant is great but you are paying for this in the price of the food and the price of the drinks. Normally when you go to a restaurant for your anniversary or for some other special event they will try to do something to add a special touch. This restaurant did nothing at all. I really don't think they cared that we chose them for our special evening. The pasta we ordered was amazing. Highly recommend the Rigatoni. It was delicious! I wish I had order a full order of this as it was more flavourful than the 12 oz New York steak with a side of French fries. The steak was good but for the price point it wasn't a good value. I would have been more satisfied with full order of the rigatoni. Do not recommend the desserts. We order the lemon tart and the chocolate and pear gateaux. The gateaux did not taste good at all. The flavour combination did not work well. The Lemon tart was way too tart. I like tart desserts but this was just too tart. In closing, this place seems to not care about the customer experience. You cannot even reach out to the restaurant to talk to anyone as they do not answer their phone. This is absolutely ridiculous! Lastly, I feel that if I am playing over $200 for meal that the service should be on par. I noticed throughout the night they had what appeared to be supervisors with tablets walking around looking at a listing of tables for the restaurant but not one of these people could ask the customer how their food was.

I’m giving Major Tom a 4.5. It was a very cool vibe and the views are beautiful! The food was good, I ordered the stuffed cheese toast… DEFINITELY order these! They’re delicious. I also had the flaming old fashion which was good and loved the flare. The only thing I felt could’ve used a bit more flavour was the chicken dish. All in all it’s a great place and fun night out. Also the service was spectacular!

Beautiful views, great service, amazing food, a little pricey but definitely a nice treat! I had the cheese toast (HOLY MOLY definitely get the cheese toast you will not regret it … unless your lactose intolerant), steak (a little gamely but perfectly cooked an seasoned), the golden beat salad (delicious and fresh). For the price I definitely expected this quality of food and I was thankful not to be disappointed. I went for lunch at 2pm on a Thursday and the place was packed. I even over heard that if you’re trying to book in advance for groups at dinner time, they’re currently booking into JULY ! wow.

The menu is unique with really interesting dishes. There has been so much hype about this place that my expectations were really high. The view is beautiful of course. The dishes are small but tasty. The service is exceptional. My favorite dishes were the Golden Beet Salad and the Crab & Shrimp Roll.

Such a great experience!! Our server Ash helped us choose some great options from the menu based on our preferences and dietary restrictions. All of the food and drinks were phenomenal!! The manager Bree took many extra steps to ensure our experience was as memorable as possible. Will definitely be spreading the word how amazing Major Tom is!
