We had an issue with our Conure this week when she was suddenly I'll and we called the animal hospital. They told us to bring her right in and took great care of her. They were friendly and called us the next day to see how she was doing, which was very considerate.

VCA is so good with our little kitties. We have never had a bad experience and it's very conveniently located. Thank you to all the vets here. We've had to put a few of our older cats down and the vets are very compassionate.

Wish there were more avian vets but the ones that are there are amazing, informative and wonderful with my pet parrot. Affordable and friendly.

This business/clinic is comically disorganized. I adopted an African Grey parrot that was in poor health. I booked an appointment with them for a quick checkup to see what I had to do to get her back on track (she's bleeding from self mutilating at the previous home). Tri Lake said they didn't have anything available until the 31st of May (the day I called to book was Friday, May 14th). After explaining my situation that the previous owner was leaving the country in 3 days they said they would see her on Monday for an emergency visit and advised me to "arrive as early as possible prior to 1PM when the avian vet will be arriving." The previous owner packed up Ellie & drove from West Kelowna to lake country & I met her there driving out from Kelowna. When we arrived they had no recollection of speaking with me & said the appointment doesn't exist, they told me it was my fault I didn't call the morning of the appointment to confirm (what?) & that the avian vet wasn't in Monday's (even though they explicitly told me the vet would be there for 1PM Monday to take emergency appointments). I had to call in a favour and have a friend contact another vet to see her. The checkup cost me $56+tax. I then get a call an hour later from tri lake who told me the first receptionist must have been misinformed, and the vet called in sick for Monday. So which is it - was it my fault I didn't call in, is the vet not in on Monday's, or was the vet sick? The checkup at Tri-lake for my conure in perfect health cost $160 - no blood work, nothing, just looked at him. Regarding that appointment - I arrived 30 minutes early yet the vet was 25 minutes late. Kelowna Veterinary Hospital; a whopping $56+tax for a more intricate checkup with a FAR LESS cooperative parrot. I have not had a single organized or thoughtful experience from Trilake, these are our animals guys; have some accountability when you make mistakes. I supplied them with this photo upon my first booking request. [photo from pervious owner's ad]

Thanks to Dr. Tara Edward's and her team of physio/rehab specialists as well as the rest if the staff. They were extremely helpful, careful, and caring in the recovery of our little shih tzu Molly after her back surgery.

I brought my dog here to get spayed and she got mites!! Disgusting cleaning practices. Then when I brought her in to get diagnoses, the vet dragged out the appt trying to convince me it was alopecia. Also, brought my male dog in for a bacterial infection and his ears were all torn up from scratching at them and she didn't even give me a cone!! Another one of the vets doesn't like big dogs so doesn't properly assess them. Really unprofessional, unclean, and bad veterinarians. Which is too bad, because all the nonvet ladies are really kind. But bad doctors makes a bad practice!!

They were so awesome with us AND our Dummy. We have been to a few clinics around in that last little while and they BY FAR had the best disposition with our boy (and ourselves). Thank you for your patience and kindness with us.
