★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best service and care ever. All the vets and support staff are fabulous. Dr. Jay and his associates have tended to our three dogs, two cats, and box turtle throughout our fourteen years here. Highly recommended! Thanks for everything :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am the owner of many pet rats , and I've always taken them to Rutland pet hospital. I've had them perform a couple of surgeries on different rats , with an amazing outcome. Friendly atmosphere and the girls at reception are very caring, especially when it comes time for my furbabies to cross over the rainbow Bridge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like how there are separate entrances for cats and dogs. Unfortunately they connect on each side once in the building, so dogs can make their way over to the cat area and can make the cats kind of uncomfortable if they are not used to dogs (like my cat hates dogs so he hissed at a dog that was trying to sniff his cage.)
Just wished people respected my cats space and not sit in the same area as my cat. Other than that, the staff and the veterinarians are very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have to say that although I've taken all my dogs there over last 19yrs, this was the first over several years w/Dr Jay. He covered for another vet there and did procedure on my 14yr old dog that required surgery on a shoulder growth that kept turning black and grew over 4mos until I could get him in for removal and biopsies. He called me during surgery to address others that I was previously told not to worry about but did do since it would be best to do so. Thankfully, all biopsies came back safe. His laser surgery work was amazing with zero discomfort, bleeding, oozing and scarring from sutures. Super clean from pick up (I was surprised how clean the wounds were from pick up which helps so much in recoup). The post op was was amazing with no post op complications. I would highly recommend Dr Jay. Thanks also to his amazing team that assisted prior, during and post to make this experience a great one!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We released our fur baby over the rainbow bridge last month and everyone of the staff were amazing and compassionate and helped both my daughter and myself through a very emotional choice. We had a private cremation done and received our "Blue" back in a very respectful and timely manner.
On Christmas Day we received our card in the mail with her paw prints and a pouch of Blue's hair??
I would recommend this vet for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best vet clinics I've been to. The front staff are always so friendly and they are very punctual for appointment times. Today, I came in with my senior rabbit and Dr. Charissa Ridderbroek was amazing. She took the time to fully examine her and listen to her full history. She was very knowledgeable about rabbit health and did not try to push any extra procedures. We left with some very reasonably priced medications and the exam fee was one of the cheapest we've had to pay for an "exotic pet exam." If you have rabbits, this is the place to bring them. Highly recommend!

Update Aug 2021, we switched our pup over to this vet hospital and we are so happy we did. We got Dr. Gordon and she is amazing. She is very caring and intelligent. She listens to all our concerns and was very thorough in checking up on our pup Kito's health. This is the best vet to go to for amazing care for your pup. You would be in good hands!
Also, the front staff and vet techs are amazing as always!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rutland Pet Hospital has an outstanding team of people. Our cat Harley has been a patient with them since we got her in 2020.
In December 2021 we rushed Harley in after having a medical event. Dr. Heather Gordon was there to examine her and even kept her in their clinic for a few hours to make sure everything was ok. She also managed to calm down a very worried cat mama! She then called me a couple days later to check in on us. I can't explain enough how great it felt to have such a caring person take care of our Harley.
Recently Harley was diagnosed with Diabetes. Dr. Charissa Ridderbroek taught us how to give insulin shots and was so patient and kind in helping us understand our new routine.
The level of compassion from the entire team is amazing. I can't say enough wonderful things.
Also have to say - the front desk team is super - very knowledgeable and friendly. Kudos to you guys because I'm sure you see it all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I have to go to the Rutland pet hospital to get my seven year old Turkish kangal looked at they had a lump on his side and I was so scared it was cancerous but thank God it just turned out to be a fat deposit. the staff and doctors Were just amazing they answered all my questions and put my mind at ease as I had his son die 6 months prior unexpectedly which was devastating to me and the doctors were amazing at Rutland pet hospital unlike Rose valley where Dr Oz just rushes you out of the room and charges extraordinary amounts of money. I highly recommend Rutland pet hospital great stuff and reasonable prices
