She makes an impression with her witty personality and charming demanour, every visit is like visiting an old friend. She is quick and knows TMJ issues inside and out and gives expert advice. I don’t live anywhere near her office but will gladly travel to see the best in the field.

I have osteoarthritis in my jaw and I was in constant pain for over 10 years and then lost the desire to eat when I could not longer open my jaw in early 2020. I got no assistance from anywhere so I went to this clinic in desperation. I am eating and chewing and in no pain!!!! It is actually unbelievable as I write this to think this is my story. I can't say thank-you enough to everyone at the clinic.

Throughout the 4-5 month process their communication with me was excellent, treatment planning was smooth, and most of all, they were open to any feedback concerning my treatment. Patient feedback is a major contributor to a successful outcome and that was clearly explained from the onset of treatment. These are trustworthy professionals at a time when trust is in short supply.

The rest of the staff are really kind until you've paid for the treatment and then they don't even look up from the desk when you walk in, and start telling you things like they are too busy to request your records and you should call and get them yourself. If one week you don't feel like the treatment was helpful, they get upset and insist it must be something you did wrong or you didn't follow their instructions. Absolute worst part: they don't warn you how much your appearance will change. The before and after photos are horrifying. I used to have an effortless smile, now if I want to show any teeth when smiling I have to push my cheeks and upper lip up so hard that my nose looks triangular and I look like a psychotic chuckie doll when smiling. Thanks Vancouver TMJ!

Then when I had an accident in 2019 and started to have bilateral jaw pain, I found out he also specialized in TMJ problems. After the treatment, the jaw pain has subsided and I can now talk and eat without any pain. The treatment was definitely successful!
