β β β β β Everyoneβs super kind and made me feel safe. I had an infection and had to get a tooth extracted, then a bone graft afterwards. It was overwhelming but generally painless :)

β β β β β I had lots of stress and increasing anxiety going to a dentist to get my wisdom tooth pulled out given that I had traumatic experience in the past. ( A complete PTSD). I had almost nightmare the night before going to a dental clinic. In the morning, when I approached this clinic, it was very nice and modern, and the dentist ( Dr. Bayat) and the entire crew were super friendly. What helped me to overcome my stress was his thorough explanation about what would happen in my mouth, as well as, what my option were to fix it.
Everything was done properly, and I did not even feel any pain at all during the procedure except pressure which was fine. I would definitely recommend Dr. Bayat to be visited especially for those who have dental phobia that he will turn it to peace for you. ?

β β β β β Terrible experience. I requested that my Endodontic specialist forward my dental CT scan to Burnaby City Dentist so I could forgo paying for, and subjecting myself to, a second CT scan within the span of a few days. Unbeknownst to me, my specialist sent pictures of my CT scan rather than a copy of the scan itself. In preparation for my consultation at Burnaby City Dentist, I confirmed on two occasions that they received my prior CT scan and that there would be no issues with using it in lieu of having another scan done. It wasn't until I arrived to my consultation that I was very rudely told that the pictures of my CT scan were insufficient and that I should have requested that my scan be burned to a CD despite no one telling me of this issue when I asked on two separate occasions. Quite frankly, I have my suspicions as to whether this information (my previous CT scan documentation being insufficient) was deliberately withheld from me until I physically came into my appointment so I could be strong-armed into paying for another Ct scan.

β β β β β The doctor who performed my dental implant was awesome. He is very caring and experienced. I had a dental checkup afterwards but that was disappointing. It was supposed to be a one hour appointment. I went in at 9, the check up did not get started until 9:10. The first hygenist spent the first 10 mins to do a regular checkup. The. The second hygenist came and started to clean my teeth. I was sent out by the second hygenist at 9:35. He said he only had time to clean 1/2 of my teeth as there is too much build-up. (Too much buildup that he could finish cleaning half in 15 mins?) I went out and they asked me to pay $235. So I clarified with them if I wonβt get charge the second time when I come for the remaining half of cleansing. They came back and told me they will have to charge again. Are you kidding me? I feel sorry for the clinic as they have experienced and good dentist for implanting (and good price too) but their other service is totally unacceptable. Good that they did not charge me eventually with my complaint. Be honest, I would not want to go back again. Is a waste of my time especially I have to take time off work to see the dentist.

β β β β β If you want proper care of your teeth and good workmanship from a dentist then stay far away from this office. Horrible front end team that are not at all concerned for the patient and lack empathy. The doctor doesnβt have the skills to
perform work that he signs off on and promises.

β β β β β I have a terrible fear of dentists and a complicated dental situation with some poorly placed implants (not from this clinic.) This clinic has been so kind to me (and my fears) that I am feeling like I am finally overcoming my past trauma. Dr. Shirbani has been handling my case with great care, and I am really looking forward to the final outcome in the future! Big thank you to all the staff and the lovely assistants. β β β β β In my experience, this place has great dentists who are very knowledgeable, providing quality care and giving you different options for treatments. Unfortunately, the reason for the 2 star was the behaviour of receptionist lady. Sadly, she can be impolite and rude over the phone or at the office. Asking simple questions about your treatment plan can get her very confrontational when it is really unnecessary to do so. This attitude is something I have seen repeatedly from her which really ruins the customer service experience.
