I love this place. Such an awesome experience! I’ve been living in Canada for 9 years now, but I’ve been to the Christmas market for the first time in 2018… I had a great time. When I first visited Germany’s Christmas markets back in 2017, I had such an amazing feeling… I was so glad to realize that we have a market in Vancouver. That being said, all my European friends hate going to this market, as they find it’s weird to pay for an entry fee to a Christmas market! ?

It’s truly a wonderful time of the year to enjoy this very joyful and merry festival. Excellent curated Christmas booths selling one of a kind, and some times made in Germany trinkets and ornaments. The food area has expanded this year and feels like a Christmas food fair. Full covered seating for those crisp winter evenings too! A great value is the mulled wine in the Christmas market festival mug. This is a fantastic souvenir! Overall this is just awesome to have in the city during this time of year. Loved every moment of it! Highly recommended!

It was way too crowded and no Covid 19 Protocol. The line went fast considering how many people were there. The food we got was very good but Mulled wine was not. It was good few years ago but they must have changed the recipe.

Not a family-friendly event. Don't bring your seniors there. I went to the market every year but this year is the worst. Even with the discount, the ticket cost $60 for our 4-ppl family. Booked the time slot in advance for WEEKDAY but still had to walked so far to get in huge line up in the cold for another 30 mins at least. Unable to cancel the ticket at that time. I thought the overpriced ticket and time slot are for covid safety and social distancing inside which would be understandable. Not at all. So crowded inside. The staff didn't take it seriously to check vaccine passport. I could just go in without showing it. ? Lovely decoration. More seats. Overall, it's a fun night except we felt ripped off.

The market is always a great Christmas event! With the prebooking of tickets it didn't feel as crowded as I remember in past years either! Always a fun time and lots of great food to check out! Would recommend going during the day vs the night if you have kids as it's easier to manuver around (with a stroller and such) be there's a fantastic carousel that is by donation for toddlers and older kids!

Came here at 4pm on a Friday. Took 5min to line up to enter and there was good number of people before 6pm. However after 6pm when we left, the lineup to enter was like 100 meters long??? Definitely way too many people everywhere! But let’s just live our life and celebrate the holiday spirits! Parking is expensive as expected; parked at convention centre parkade, $8/hr. You need to come to Market before 4pm, and maybe just leave before 6:30pm as it would be 30min wait to get any food by then. 2hrs would be minimum time to visit plus the possible long waiting time to enter, so pay accordingly. Food is good, but expensive and after 6pm, it is just huge lineup everywhere. Lots of vendors but didn’t really buy anything! But it was festive and we loved the atmosphere! Carousel is the highlight of this trip! Kids absolutely loved it! Anyway, it’s definitely worth a visit!

I visited this Christmas market near Canada place last weekend. It was a Sunday and there was a huge lineup. To be honest everything inside was very expensive and I did not feel like standing in the long queue to buy anything. The decorations, carousel, Christmas trees, lights look pretty. But the entire arena was very crowded and I did not feel safe enough in the Covid scenario. Crowd management was very poor. I tried the pretzel which was pretty delicious but on a pricier side.

This was my first time at the Vancouver Christmas Market. I heard there were many vendors that are normally there that weren’t this year but I am unsure if that can affect my experience. Personally, I had a lot of fun trying out the food and walking around. It’s a fun event to go to with family, friends or your significant other. Although we are still in a pandemic it was quite busy and people did not wear masks while they were walking around. I would come again, hopefully the missing vendors come back next year as I’d love to check them out! Also, be prepared to bring money and SPEND!
