★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was one of the first to sail out of this port to Alaska. It seemed like everyone was new. No on knew what to do and check in took forever. It is beautiful and I think they will get it together pretty quick. The people were delightful. I will wait a bit before trying this port again.

Canada Place is a multi-use facility that includes FlyOver Canada, Vancouver Convention Centre East, Pan Pacific Hotel, Port Metro Vancouver cruise ship terminal, World Trade Centre office tower and VINCI Park parkade. Canada Place hosts Canada Day at Canada Place, the largest Canada Day celebration outside of Ottawa, and well as a number of other community events including National Aboriginal Day, the Canada Place Summer Series and Christmas at Canada Place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this terminal ive taken many ships from here and even round trip over the years and going on a ship again this year. I would love to see the cruise industry here became like how is in los Angeles and Florida ....more ships and heading to more destinations then just Alaska, California, Hawaii and we need a another terminal here in Vancouver not just Canada place but how about something a new bigger terminal next to YVR airport and have it operated, owned under also the musqueam nation besides port of Richmond /Vancouver . the musqueam nation has been fighting for control rights on YVR over the years . Yes we definitely need a bigger port expansion to become the best cruise ship terminal on the northwest coast and its important to our economy . I do agree that the cruise industry has to become more environmentally friendly for the future . Canada place terminal is next to hotels, public transportation, restaurants and Canada line ,sea bus ,sea planes, helicopters . ( the pictures i took were from Saturday when we had the Holland America ship lines kick off the cruise season )

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large facility, just alot of hoops to jump through to have all the Covid requirements on the correct forms and alot of rechecking at each stop to board ship. Everyone was very kind and helpful and didn't mind, but seemed unorganized. I think part of problem was the app. It wouldn't accept some of the preloading information and you had to wait till you boarded.
