★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cool sculpture piece outside of the convention center. Simple yet bold and dynamic, the piece strikes a balance between being eye catching without distracting at the same time. The water theme complements the space it is in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Drop is an interesting piece of metal sculpture set at the corner of the iconic Canada Place in Downtown Vancouver. It is about 20 meters high and is in the shape of a slanting water or rain drop falling on the earth. It is supposed to signify a homage to the power of nature and represents the and outlook towards the waters that surrounds the city of Vancouver. The steel sculpture is bright blue in color as it is covered by blue polyurethane. It complements the fascinating and interesting sights around the waterfront of the sea planes taking off or landing, and the small boats and large ships moving about in the Burrard Inlet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice experience here, you get to see it for free and you also get to the the Vancouver Harbour. Another thing you can see here is the seaplanes, which come and go after a few minutes (depending if there are planes departing or arriving on the day you visit). Overall this is a pretty good place to go to in Vancouver.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The amazing drop - an ode to Vancouver's rainy weather. A 65 foot masterpiece is an apt artistic expression of something quintessentially Vancouver. The electric blue artistically encapsulates the drizzled through winter that keep the city so vibrant and lush. Lovely place to come and grab a bite nearby.
