Clock gets 5+ ?, but area is less than desirable. Though not as bad as other very nearby areas of town. Loved to be able to see in the clock, see the stream, and hear the sounds! On a street corner, no fees no hours.

One of the adorable sightseeing in Vancouver downtown. It is located in the centre of downtown. Very nice walking street surrounding of lots of shops & restaurants. Entire street is nicely organized with decorative street light poles. Street musician performers will be available on this street. This clock is really amazing work on steam & giving whistle on every 4.5 minutes. Mechanism is superbly transparent visible to tourist. Photos is highly recommended as background buildings will add flavour of essence in picture. Highly recommend to visit to everybody.

Always a busy place, we were able to see the steam coming out and also hear the sound it makes for every few minutes. Great to stop by while exploring downtown.

An amazing spot to take pictures. There’s a Starbucks across the street where you can sit and wait for the steam to rise and sound off the clock. There are some souvenir shops nearby.

I grew up listening to the sound of an antique grandfather clock standing in the corner of the living room. It is still with my family, but its mechanism is getting too old that it gets fixed more than it actually works. It plays the same music as the steam clock, and it plays every 15 mins. When I lived in Vancouver, I didn’t think it matters. It is just a clock. It’s not as symbolic as Statue of Liberty nor the Golden Gate Bridge. It is small, insignificant and it’s singing is late at least 3 mins. But it feels different this time, while I became a visitor. The old steam clock is still the same, still late, but felt like an old friend.

Nice attraction in downtown Vancouver. Great place for a walk and visit to one of the local restaurants. Steam clock is an interesting concept, I don’t remember seeing something like this anywhere else!

Great attraction, specially on a rainy winter day, grab a coffee and go on a stroll in history. Fantastic and effortless photography opportunity. Contrast of today(the modem buildings in the backdrop) and the clock (in focus) is a sight to see. Kids love this place too and won't stop reading the signs and history behind the be clock.

It's a nice place to take pictures if you're visiting Vancouver or just live here. The whole street is very beautiful and has tons of food options. If you like Italian, you must try Old Spaghetti Factory - Do reserve your table beforehand.
