★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for some place for quiet reflection then you can come here and it is free entry and if you like can leave a donation before you leave.
This is the oldest church in Vancouver and you can see it in the construction all around you. It is open during the week day especially on a Monday when we were here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can only comment on beauty from the outside as it was closed when were here. A beautiful sight to be seen and even though I am not Anglican I do want to visit a service once Covid settles down. Looking at the site it looks like this is a very LGBTQ ?️? friendly place which is honestly very refreshing in this day and age. I feel bad for everyone who regularly attends and now has to zoom and live stream due to the pandemic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For all these years living in Vancouver, I never knew this peaceful and sacred cathedral existed.
Probably because I was a resident, and now I am a visitor. I also happened to stay at the Hyatt, which is directly across the street from the cathedral.
We entered purely by coincidence or because it started to rain and we got time to spare.
It was magnificent. The structure, the arts and stories on the stained glasses, the cross, the praying stand… I’m no Christian nor Catholic, but the presence was strong.
For visitors, if you are in between meals and tired from shopping and sightseeing, this cathedral may recharge your worn spirit.
