★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow !!! One thing that is hard to find today is customer service, but if you want to find it at its best .. this company is where you go!! From the start of my experience with Kendra handling everything with perfection, kindness and professionalism to the end with Liam and Matt delivering and planting my new tree .. these two gentlemen are also class acts .. the respect, kindness, professionalism and total service just left me wondering why this is a lost art in businesses today. All I can say to the Van Dongen Family is congratulations !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great friendly service from Michael behind the desk to their employees in store help, right up to the delivery and install which was taken care of this morning by Liam and the team. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased a 15 ft Blue Spruce tree last summer from Van Dongen's. Best experience ever. Jonathan was so knowledgeable and very patient through each step esp. picking out our tree. When they came to install the tree, what an undertaking. Fernando come back 3 times to get everything completed with a specialized truck and it was perfect every step of the way. I would definitely recommend Van Dogen's, we know now why there's a cost to install a tree that big and it's worth every penny. Thank you for making this an easy purchase, the tree looks great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Special and unusual perennials are what bring us back to Van Dongen’s repeatedly.
We visit lots of garden centres in the area (and love ‘em!), but in thinking through our purchases the last few years, we noticed a pattern. The perennials we bought on a whim—new to us, or unexpected, or special—and that have been incredible boons to our garden design have ALL come from Van Dongen’s.
We’ve never visited without stumbling upon a perennial which we weren’t expecting, and which will become a standout in our garden. I don’t think I know a better compliment for a garden centre!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experience. Andrew in the tree section is amazing with his knowledge of trees and customer service skills. Went over the weekend to check out trees. At the entrance you are greeted by friendly staff who seek to help you (answer questions and guide you accordingly). We were still undecided of the kind of tree but we were put onto Andrew to assist us who after getting details of our likes and where the tree is going to be planted made suggestions and walked us through the pros and cons which made our purchase fulfilling. Definitely going back and will definitely ask for Andrew.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience shopping for some evergreens that provide beauty and privacy in front of our frost fence between us and the neighbours. Andrew was very knowledgeable , friendly and informative about my options and drilled down to the sun and care details so i knew the purchase of my Ward Yews were perfect. I also bought the Mykes transplant 5 year guarantee product. I didn’t rate it a 5 star because the prices are high however to obtain mature evergreens now at this time the options are very limited, Big Box stores have no inventory.
