I went for a haircut with my mom, the own didn’t give us back the change, and she kept the rest and stared at us instead. Very rude!! Will never go back again. Spend your money wisely everyone!

Been going to this place for cheap hair cut for 2 years. Advertisement board outside always says its $9 and I always paid $9 + $2 tip. However a few months ago after my haircut the lady said that the price has actually gone up to $15 and I said when did it go up she says a long time ago, then I pointed out that the sign outside still says $9 and she said that the sign has not been updated for a long time, its been like that 10+ years . So I stopped going. I found alternatives like across the street (Top Beauty) and on Kingsways and rupert there is also Gepino's (sp ?) both around the same price for a hair cut.

I am appalled by how this hair salon treats customers, particularly frequent and loyal clients. As a long term customer who tips generously on every occasion, I truly feel my money could have been better spent elsewhere. You would expect a customer who visits every few weeks to be treated at least on par with any other paying customer if not receiving a slightly preferential level of service. However, my experience feared the exact opposite. The salon does not run on appointments but rather a first-come-first-served basis. Despite arriving much earlier than other customers and waiting for extended durations, the owner (Suki) would offer cuts to others who arrived much later consequently relegating my queue in line. I was understanding the first time thinking it was merely a “one-off” occurrence. However, after receiving the same treatment on subsequent visits I decided to kindly ask what was going on. The owner merely laughed and displayed complete apathy to my concerns and was unwilling to mediate the situation. Further, no explanation was provided as to why my queue in line was constantly being disregarded. The owner’s myopic actions have lost them a frequent customer. I am genuinely perplexed as to how an entity can still turn over a profit while maintaining such absurd and unethical business practices. Please find a place that is deserving of your hard-earned money. This review is meant to serve as a public note of caution.

Always exceptional service. I have been taking my son there for years. Perfect cut everytime. Really wonderful stylists.

It's a mom and daughter business. They are both pleasant to talk to, friendly, and fast. The daughter is more delicate and light with her hands; the mom cuts hair like, really fast and may at times feel a little rough. But shes very experienced and doesn't "diddly dialy" with strands of hair. I dont expect too much for an $18 cut (and I have long hair). I've also had my hair washed, cut, and permed for $65. That's really cheap.

Been going here for years, Suki is the best (and cheapest!) hairdresser I've ever had. I've never had a bad cut from her. I got colour from her once (not the whole head) and it took at least 3 hours on natural black hair, but that's because the only bleach used is whatever is already in the dye product. It's mostly the heat, hence the long time span. However, it was definitely cheaper than what I've seen at other salons, and it's been 9 months since then and there's still a tinge left. Definitely worth the wait if you have the time.

Good friendly service. Prices r good and if u just need a quick simple hair cut, this is the place to go. Best to make appointments before going as it can get busy at times.

Great place for the entire family male and female. My 90 year old grandma was there the same time as toddlers and young men and woman. Great mother daughter team to serve you . Efficient but not rushed. Good quality and price
