BLONDE'S HAIR STUDIO

My appointment at Blonde's Hair Studio started out well, as I felt confident that Ben could help me reach my hair goals. However, near the middle of my appointment, Ben claimed that I did not make him aware of my hair history in advance , which I did, and made It seem as though if my hair did not turn out well, it would be my fault. He applied bleach to my hair a second time when it had already lifted to its full potential, only causing further damage and dryness to my hair. As I expected, the second bleach did NOT lift my hair significantly, as it had already reached it's limit. On top of this, Ben was not the most kind or professional when speaking to his trainee, which made me feel uncomfortable. I left the salon with very patchy blonde that had at least 3 different shades throughout. My hair was ripped out with the round brush right after bleaching because it seemed as though he had a time limit to my service. Keep in mind, Ben said this service would take no more than 4 hours, when in reality it took almost 7. Ben said that he was giving me "a good deal" because he felt bad for my personal life. The "deal" that he gave me was not good at all, considering that it took up my entire day and still did not turn out even looking professionally done. He also claimed, before my appointment, that he would not make me pay a dime if my hair did not turn out better than what I asked for. This was not true. To make matters worse, Ben rudely hung up on me, mid sentence, the next day when I called to ask him if there was anything he could do to make me feel better about my hair. He has not contacted me since to provide an explanation or apology. This was a very poor experience as a whole, and I strongly believe that the great google reviews on Blonde's Hair Studio do NOT reflect it's actual service and lack of professionalism. Update: Ben's response to my review does not even accurately reflect my hair's actual dyeing history because he would not take the time to understand. And on top of that, still no apology or explanation for being hung up on. Not professional, not good service, not worth my time or money. Thank you!

Ben is fantastic, very professional and he knows hair. I had my perm and he's giving me advice how to maintain my curl. I found my hair stylist for life. Thanks Ben!

Ben did a phenomenal job with my keratin treatment. He took the time to explain the process very carefully to me step by step as we went along. I was also glad to see that he was using a formaldehyde-free product as this was a concern of mine in the past regarding most keratin treatments. My hair looks and feels fantastic. I am very happy with the final result! He also completely fixed my very uneven bangs which another hair stylist from a different salon gave me. His services and products are all VERY reasonably priced. He is very friendly and approachable and always up to a challenge regarding any ideas you bring to him. I will definitely be coming back. I was searching for a hair salon near to my place and Blonde’s hair studio came out first in the list. I read the reviews and then i decided to make an appointment for consultation. When I arrived at the salon, Ben asked me what i want for my hair. At first I’m not sure what I really wanted. Ben showed me pictures of colored hair and then helped me decide what to choose. He was so accommodating, professional and very considerate. He transformed me to a new me ☺️ I love my new coloured hair and my daughter likes it too! Glad that I made my hair done at Blonde’s by Ben. Highly recommended, ?excellent service in all aspect, nice and clean salon!

I had the opportunity to meet Ben in 2008 - he was working for a small hair studio and I just happened to find this place. When I saw how he cut my hair, I was so happy with the way it looked. My friends complimented my haircut. I have since then only been going to Ben. I have been following him to each Hair Studio he has worked for. For a few years, I lost touch with him and could not find him, so I went to other salons (expensive ones and not so expensive ones) and nobody has been able to cut my hair like Ben. Luckily, after 6 years, I found him. I went to all the salons he worked for but I couldn’t find him but one day, I was cleaning my apartment and I found his phone number so I texted him and he told me he now has his own hair salon! I am so happy for Ben. What makes him different? He is passionate about hair and colour. He loves what he does and he really cares . He is talented and his prices are reasonable considering how talented and good he is. Do not waste your money going to all those fancy salons, I have been to each of them and I have never encountered the level of service Ben provides me. I am so lucky to have known Ben for 13 years.

Ben did an incredible job with my golden blonde balayge. He was patient with my consultation and made sure I was getting the colour I was hoping for. I saw Ben today for a haircut and was SO impressed with the service - not only is he incredibly sweet and personable, but he's also highly skilled, knowledgeable in his craft, and truly takes the time to understand your hair goals. I was looking for a low-maintenance cut with face-framing layers that would grow out nicely and not overwhelm my fine wavy hair, and he talked me through the whole process. We discussed a couple of cut options and what they'd look like in the future, what kind of shampoos and other products I was using vs. what I should be using, and even supplements I could be taking to make my hair stronger and healthier. The service was exactly within the expected timeframe in the booking, and the prices were super reasonable! I'd highly recommend Ben to anyone looking for a hairstylist they can trust :)

I love this studio and Ben!! He is professional, I mean he knows what he is doing. I got my hair coloured for the first time and he did an amazing job. He used chemical free products and he genuinely cares about your hair. He is very genuine and makes you feel comfortable. This studio is always my go-to. The next time I went to get a haircut, I got many compliments. The prices are reasonable too. He recommended me a few products for my hair and its working wonders. Definitely recommend this place to everyone :)
