t	tEdDy J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Wong is ok guy but his skills and knowledge are terrible. Dr. Yick was a much better dentist, he was honest and reliable. Dr. Wong only care about $$$. Don't go there unless you want to pay more.
G	G K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here with my friend because she has a phobia of dentists. Dr Anselm Wong IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL. Dr wong first of all he can't speak english properly he has a thick chinese accent which you can not understand. Dr wong is on ESL grade 1 level .He is so rude and needs to learn how to be nice. He only cleaned her teeth for less than 5 minutes . She will not come back you are a money grabber ! I THINK YOU SHOULD USE THE EXTRA MONEY FOR ENGLISH LESSONS. DR WONG NEEDS to learn more skills , his knowledge is terrible. I don't know how he passed dental school must have paid the teachers money to bribe them so he can pass. He also probably used an interpreter to translate for him in school because he can't speak english and has ESL level english.
M	M James on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sadly Dr. Wong is nothing like Dr. Yik. He sent me to an endodontist in Burnaby, Kevin Li. This doctor charged my over $200 for a consultation. Then he told me I might need a root canal, when I heard the word "might" it was a bad sign. I was lucky to see Dr. Yik before he retired. All I needed was a mouth guard. Dr. Yik saved me a lot of money and pain. I think Dr. Wong needs to be careful who he refers, it reflects on him and really why did he not figure out I only needed a mouth guard. I am no longer a patient of Smiles on Rupert. Once Dr. Yik left so did I.
W	William McMichael on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a longtime former patient of Dr Yick and now Dr Wong, my experience with both has been first rate all round. The venue is sparking, assistants and staff are aways helfpul - it is a warm and professional environment. Dr Wong is very efficient and does his best to be informative about what he is doing as he proceeds. As for the trollish comments here, they do not ring true at all for me.

Our clinic is just a friendly family dental practice which has been well–established by our retired and existing dentists for more than 30 years. We actually kind of thought it was funny how far off these reviewers were, which is very obvious to anyone that these reviews are not for our business and services. Please be advised that the degree of common sense of the google reviews users shouldn’t be underestimated. Firstly, they use very outdated equipment and they are very unhygienic as the tools they use are out in the open, already clear signs of a bad Dental Clinic. Secondly, they overcharged me $200 for a clean and $100 for some toothpaste, which clearly shows that this Dental Clinic is just in for the money, not the quality they give to people. They also are very unprofessional as during the clean, the dentist, or Dr. Anselm Wong and a colleague started talking about a trip to Italy while cleaning my teeth. I do not recommend anyone to go to this dentist, as you can save money and time going to a different one.
N	N T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a patient of Smiles On Rupert ever since I was a toddler and Dr. Yick was the main dentist. Now I'm in my late 30s and will be taking my own toddler here very soon. The transition from Dr. Yick to Dr. Wong was a very smooth one and the level of professionalism and service is still excellent. I was shocked to read the negative reviews from 4 years ago which clearly are fake and trying to damage this clinics reputation intentionally. I would ignore those reviews, they're simply not true. I recommend Smiles On Rupert if you're looking for a new family dentist that is very professional and accommodating.
S	Stephen Kane on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an actual long time customer of this dentist, I can tell you that Dr. Wong and his team are nothing but professional, pleasant, attentive and have always done really fantastic work. This is the only dentist I have gone too that hasn't tried to upsell or recommend treatments that I don't need. I have been to other dentists that pushed for thousands of $ worth of unnecessary treatments and 4 cleanings a year. They update their methods regularly, and I have never had an issue with any work they have done. Had two extractions done last year and was back to work the next day with no issue. Can't recommend them enough.
