Upper Room Home Furnishings in Orleans claimed that the order will be received in one month. Waited 3 months and both 2 items got delivered Jan. 5th completely broken and damaged. The delivery took it back on the spot but the store don't want to refund me. Horrible service. Never answer calls. They got the damaged dining set & my money. Managers are not cooperative and their refund policy is non existant. They oblige me to order another set and wait for 3 more months, not knowing in which state the merchandise will be when delivered. I just read many other one star reviews online... same story... late delivery, damaged items upon delivery and waiting for 6 months and receive damaged items. Don't waist your money & time!

We were told that they will order a new piece to fix the dresser and we are still waiting for it to be fixed. One year after and still nothing happened.Although the furniture itself is nice, we expect better customer service given the premium price of the rooms. * updates *received a call from the store confirming the delay but nothing happened since

She explained the layout of the store and then we took our time to look around. We did not find q dinning set. As we were leaving, Kari meet us and asked if we had found what we were looking for. We told her that we didn't. So, she asked us additional questions. When we explained what we were looking for she led us to two dinning tables. We had previously seen these, but did no catch our attention. She proceeded to explain the tables features, and color availability. Now, we were interested. We told her that we were looking for different chairs. She brought us a selection. We chose a model. Then with Kari's assistance we selected the color and texture of the upholstery as well as the color and finish of the chair legs. Then we discussed recliner chairs. She showed us a few chairs and explained each chairs features. We tried them out and selected two chairs. Kari assisted us greatly. Her knowledge of furniture, upholstery and colors was of great assistance to select our furniture. We left the store extremely satisfied with our purchases. Kari did a great job and we highly recommend her to anyone one who wishes to purchase furniture for the Upper Room Home Furnishings.

Melanie Deschamps was by far the greatest employee over there! She helped us find the couch we were looking for and she provided us with great service and the best deals!

The Upper room in Orleans was the only home furnishing store that had what we were looking for. We dealt with Melanie Deschamps and she was extremely helpful and didn’t pressure us at all. She showed us ideas for colors and style. Was very efficient and communicated with us by email regarding delivery updates. I highly recommend The Upper Room and Melanie as your sales consultant.

The Rep who assisted us is named Alexia (hope I got the spelling right). She was very patient with all the questions we had, and extremely knowledgeable. We were able to purchase a Made in Canada custom recliner and were more than happy to pay a little more than the competitors, yet having the peace of mind of the quality of the product as well as the service and peace of mind from Alexia and Upper Room Home Furnishings. A+++
