The issue is the wait times can be incredibly long and the staff will not notify of schedule delays; for example there have been times when the doctor is delayed arriving by over an hour and no one is informed, so when he does arrive the room is full of tired, unhappy kids and caregivers all crammed into the waiting area. Also, just a note that waiting with the child will be a parade of parents, grandparents and aunts; don't know if it a Chinese thing where the entire clan comes along for little Junior's appointments. However with the scarcity of Pediatric Doctors around and very few GOOD Family Doctors taking new patients there is not much choice in the Markham area.
M	Mathumi Nagarajah on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Kaitlyn Leslie is an amazing pediatrician. I've been taking my toddler to her for over an year now and have always felt comfortable as she has always been very thorough and accurate with his diagnosis/treatments. The reason for my low rating is because I am not happy with the lack of access. I've had a few occurrences now, where my husband and I have left multiple message over the course of a week or two ( usually by pushing the option that I'm "rescheduling" an appointment as there is no option to leave a vm otherwise. Most of the time, noone answers the calls it always goes to an automated message that says that they have a high volume of patients. I've addressed this with Dr. Leslie and for a couple of weeks after that, the receptionists have answered calls but this past week, I've had the same experience again. This needs to be rectified as it is very frustrating to parents with a sick child to have to leave multiple messages and then have to go into a walk-in or unnecessarily go to the emerg in order to receive care.
B	Bill Ng on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to this clinic with my baby daughter for her 6 week check up. A couple of reasons why I did not return after that appointment: 1. You are not allowed to bring in a stroller. What kind of pediatrician's office does not allow strollers? That's half your patients. I'm not lugging a baby in a car seat from the underground parking to the fourth floor. 2. The male receptionist is incredibly rude. He hung up on me without saying good bye every time I called the office. He also looks and acts really bored at the front desk. 3. I saw Dr. Lau and while he may be an experienced doctor, he just seemed uninterested in my child. I'm not expecting him to be enthusiastically interacting with her but at least have some interest in the patient you're treating.
S	Shruti Suresh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We moved here in Oct 2019. Our OHIP kicked in just when our daughter was due for her vaccines. A friend referred us to this clinic. Setting up and appointment and registering your child is easy. Doesn't take more than 5 minutes on the call. We arrived at 9:50 for 10:00 AM appointment. The clinic was full. But the receptionist ushered us to the front of the queue immediately. We filled the forms for registration, gave the OHIP card and waited not more than a minute to see the doctor. Dr. Kaitlyn is very warm and patient. She explained everything as she administered the vaccinehs. She got a detailed history from us,even had our records from India scanned. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. I'm happy and satisfied with this choice. They are still accepting patients.

I am going there for my son and daughter and we have doctor Leslie as pediatrician. she is incredibly kind and caring with the kids. I rarely have wait time issues (I am the one who actually arrives a little bit late). My 3yo had a shot there for the 1st time and she didn’t even drop a tear! 1st time ever! And even with us dr Leslie is caring and very knowledgeable always smiling and positive and you feel that she wants to help. We like her a lot!

We had certain obvious issues go undetected from our previous doctor, and as soon as we switched over to this practice, our baby started receiving the care, attention and treatment he deserves. The reception staff is amazing to deal with and super efficient. The doctors really know what they're doing and they TRULY CARE about their patients. It's easy to get a phone appointment or in-person appointment without an unreasonable wait time, unlike other practices. My family loves and trusts this clinic completely and we don't mind the + 1/2 hour drive to the clinic at all because of the quality they provide. Thank you for maintaining excellent standards of care.
R	Ron F on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doctor's on site are great, straight to the point, easy in and out......IF YOU CAN GET AN APPOINTMENT!!!!!! Spent the last hour with two phones trying to call to get an appointment, only to get the same automated message. "We're experiencing an unusual high volume of calls, please call back later and we'll be more than happy to assist you". Out of 79 call attempts, I got 79 automated messages in about an hours time. This is the only issue I have with this clinic, and it's literally almost impossible to get someone to book an appointment. And yes, I did check to see if they were open. If you have the patience to wait and keep calling to see if they have an appointment, go to the clinic because the doctors are great. If you don't have the patience, go somewhere else.
