Extremely terrible. Husband and I rented a truck and once we got our final bill we were overcharged. We went in to talk to the person who rented us the truck and he basically said that it was our fault and that we didn't understand. Very disappointing as I wanted to keep renting from here for all my other moves and business related stuff. I am going to find another location as they just lost my business

Give a truck that the batterie died at the storage unit facility. Call them 3 times they hung up 3 times. Went back to the store to tell them and just got told "can't help, call U-HAUL"

Definitely the best experience at a Uhaul rental shop. Cole went above and beyond to make sure our trailer was hooked up right, and I’ve rarely seen such good customer service.

I rented a 15’ foot truck recently. Brought it back unfortunately not realizing that I was supposed to replace the gas I burned while using the truck as the person working the desk did not tell me. Now I have a bill over $200 because uhaul charges $1.70 per litre of gas they have to refill. Also Clancy Johnson was extremely rude to me saying to me as if I were a child, β€œit’s a big moving truck it uses a lot of gas” sorry this wasn’t common knowledge to me also you can find somewhere to stick that tone of voice. Definitely not coming back to this location.

We had an awful and unsafe experience at this Uhaul and will never return. We rented a cube truck to do a move from Kingston to Toronto. As soon as I got the truck on the 401 the driver's side mirror kept flipping inwards due to the wind. I was not able to see around the box in order to merge into the left lane with transports flying by me. I tried to push the mirror out with my hand but could barely push it against the wind. I nearly lost my $800 apple watch with my arm out the window, so I ended up having to take the next exit (Montreal) and drove back to the UHaul location. When I arrived I explained the concern. The young fella working there moved the mirror back and forth a few times then we went inside. He then proceeded to tell me that the charge for the day was $76. I said, I was not paying anything for an unsafe vehicle that I had to bring back. He sneered and said he checked the vehicle and there is nothing wrong with it. I told him that the mirror would not stay out while on the 401 so there was no way I could drive the truck to Toronto. He smirked again from behind his mask and said, β€œthe last person who just returned the truck had no issues with it, so there is nothing wrong with the vehicle. The amount for today is $76.” Perhaps the person before me did not take the truck on the 401. Perhaps the mirror came loose while I was driving it. Perhaps the last person just didn’t feel like complaining so returned the unsafe, non-working vehicle. Either way, the vehicle was unsafe for me and having a child behind the counter tell me otherwise is not only rude but puts future customer’s lives in danger. Given the young kid’s attitude, I am quite certain that nothing was done about the unsafe condition of that truck and it is probably out right now. I will never return to uHaul and I would recommend that this location starts to hire adults who understand safe driving conditions and can provide adequate customer service.

Well I got to say that I have had previous issues with the princess location like messing up dates, and not having moving trucks when they say they would. But let me tell you that they have best pricing on boxes and we just had a hitch installed on our van with wiring which was on time and done well. Every other place I called quoted between $900-$1200 for install, uhaul at princess location was hitch, wiring and labour to install was $463... I was shocked and very happy with end result. They ordered the hitch, it came in on time, and was installed and van back in my possession in a couple hours.

If i could provide a lower rating i would. Ford booked a veh for minimum 2 week period. I went in and talked to your younger staff that took my money that i would need it longer then 2 weeks as ford already had my truck for 2 months. NO PROBLEM was what i was told. being they had my card number and ford was paying for it it would not be a problem. loaded the truck for my next delivery and wound up rolling my ankle and stuck in bed. i receive a phone call from U haul telling me it was supposed to be returned the day before. I informed him of the conversation i had and i was told there are late fees and they booked the truck out, again at this point i was again confused as i was told by their staff NO Problem. So i said ok i can return it but i have rolled my ankle and i am on my hands and knees at the current time and was basically said i would have to find someone to bring the truck in cause they booked it out after i said i would need it longer then two weeks and was told NO Problem. so after talking to ford i decided to call the uhaul dealer back and inform them that i would be doing a review of their mis information being provided to customers just to make a rental contract and get the truck out on the road and at the end of the conversation the rep laughed as he hung up the phone.. never again will i rent a uhaul veh and i let and will let everyone know ..

I try to be objective when sharing my experiences and this one stood up as one of the most frustrating and difficult ones to the point where the person I dealt with became hostile and threatening. I did report the incident to Uhaul head office right after it happened. The issue was about a insurance claim for a malfunctioning door at different Uhaul location which was pre-existing, notified on pick up of the trailer, and reported upon return. Uhaul dropped the ball to take all into account and started a claim into seeking payment for damages. All was cleared by insurance and head office, but future rental services were denied prior to resolution. It took multiple times to clear the notification and block. Needless to say, a lot of work and not a smoot process. The incident with this dealer occurred after the ban has been lifted but somehow got back on. The person, who identified himself as a manager, turned from pleasant to angry and rude after reading the note under my name in their system. He denied service, even to hear that I had this resolved and did not even want to listen to the details or attempt to assist. He became extremely agitated and hostile to the point of breaking into a fight. I left and immediately called Uhaul and spoke to Regional Manager who did not appear very interested in what has transpired and had not solution or follow up, neverminded desire to investigate and rectify the problem with an irate and uncontrollable employee. This is out of norm for Uhaul where I rented multiple times and various location, both corporate of privately owned. It would appear that lack of competition in trailer rentals has made some of Uhaul operations less than welcoming and interested in providing a reasonable customer service. Still, there are others that do a good job and we as consumers can chose who we give our business to. This location will not see me ever again, and my confidence in this large corporation has been diminshed as they also reflect the attitude matching their low end stores.
