โ โ โ โ โ We have been at U-grill several times.
Here you select vegetables, meat and fish and then pay for your food by weight. You can decide if you want rice with your meal. They offer two choices of rice - white or brown.
After that the cook grills your selected food with the sauces you want. There several choices for sauces. I like the ginger and teriyaki sauces.
The food is healthy as it is not deep fried.
The taste depends on how hungry you are. If you are hungry, it is all good. It you are not that hungry the taste is ordinary.
But the food is definitely of good quality. This is important, as you are eating this food to narouish your body.
All in all it is a good place to grab a quick meal.

โ โ โ โ โ They completely REFUSED to stir my rice together into my stir fry. There wasn't a single person in line. It was a very simple request to satisfy a long term customer. Other locations have done this for me many times. Guess customer service means nothing at this location.

โ โ โ โ โ Horrible service paid $38 for two meals and then the cook was so rude that when she was about to pour the food they forgot to add the rice when I asked she was like why didn't you say it in the start it's pretty standard the rice comes with the meal the service was highly unprofessional I will not be supporting this business no more

โ โ โ โ โ I agree with the earlier poster. Like many of the Mongolian grill style is places you can be surprised by the bill at the end as it is by weight. The good news is that the food is fresh usually and the spicing is to your request. During lunch rush this can get quite slow as several patrons are delivering their bowls. Parking is available from the mall (rooftop is closest) or you can use transit from the Canada line and the nearby bus hub.

โ โ โ โ โ Fresh (really good quality veggies) food you choose cooked perfectly right there in front of you with sauces you choose. It is inherently great food.
The service was efficient and prompt.
That equals fast food perfection.
I have no idea why done reviewers say the service is so bad that the whole experience gets 1 star. Even those review say the food is good and fresh. This is a 4+ star fast food place at least. 5 stars from me.
If this is a chain, I'll certainly try other locations as well.

โ โ โ โ โ This is a tough one because my son likes their teriyaki beef. But like others before me, the chef and cashier are terrible with customer service. It bothers me when you pay for food and it feels like they have skimped on their servings. I was appalled that they used this particular container and it was literally filled with less than a cup of white rice. (See pic) If I knew it would be like this, Iโd ask for a smaller bowl because it was a waste of space. I looked at the container and said, โYou guys really skimped on the rice, huh?โ The cook didnโt respond and stared at me blankly. I will try to dissuade my son from eating here because of the lack of attention to customer service. I shouldโve read the room when there was no one in line. My suggestion is to spend your money on a place that is worth it. U-Grill in the Richmond Centre food court is simply not that.
