1080 Bay st & 65 St Mary located Steps to Yorkville and University of Toronto comes with a high price tag as its one of Toronto's Ritziest areas. The units boast $1200+/ sq ft. A similar price point to the condos at One Bloor. The amenities on the top floor include a gym which has an amazing south view over looking the city and a party room which is prefect if you wanted to host an evening event. I like the fact that this building has lots of visitor parking and the Concierge team is helpful and courteous. I've heard stories of U of T international students paying a full years rent in advance to land a unit within this building. Therefore, you will get a mix of renters and those who own. I do prefer the SW corner units, as they overlook Queen's park. Grocery shopping is across the street at the base of the Manulife center, and shops on Bloor St are within walking distance. The area is relatively quiet and peaceful in the evenings. Good evening spots nearby are Hemingways, 7 West Cafe and Dbar. - Z

Mo, the little old security at 65 st mary is the worst concierge I have ever seen. Today I was doing a delivery. I buzzed the customer, but it didn't seem to work. Now usually when this happens concierges are helpful, not mr. Mo. After I politely approached him and informed of the customer's information, this little man looked at me very condescendingly and said: 'go buzz again' to what I objected 'I am already here can't you just let me in?' After refusing me again, I called the customer I front of him and had him on speaker: 'please let the delivery man in' the tenant requested, but this insolent chose to ignore the call altogether. It goes without saying that the tenant, upon arriving in the lobby was not happy and confronted mo: 'I have to come down? Why?! What's the issue with the delivery or the delivery man?" Mo's customer service should be strictly limited to herding cattle in the hills some where. What a shameless disaster of a concierge. GET RID OF THIS UNEDUCATED VAGRANT!

Rudest concierge! Brought my friend groceries during Covid and he wouldn’t even listen to me. He just kept yelling at me to go outside. I tried to explain it’s not food delivery but he just kept speaking over me.

Elevators get chronically stuck, huge lineups to get on one, broken and feel dangerous and bouncy. One time I had the elevator literally drop from from 12 floor and an incredible speed just to stop around ground floor. Horrifying experience. The gym is nice though. Also the east facing windows in this building crackle in high winds.

Beautiful condo and great location, however, the concierge of this condo is not only extremely unprofessional but unnecessarily rude. I visited with my realtor today as i was interested in renting out a unit in the condo, the concierge refused to provide us with a visitor parking pass and demanded my realtor to show her licence number. Afterwards my realtor had done so, they denied our access into the building as we could not provide a name of the current occupant of the unit, even though all communication had been done between the real estate agents. I have never encountered any customer service as horrible as this place, definitely will not consider living here ever.

Excellent location. New developments nearby when materialized will block its view towards Bay, St Mary and St Joseph Streets, unfortunately.

All of the negative reviews are coming from people that do not live in this building, which reflects zero things about the actual experience of living here. I don't understand why there's so many negative sentiments on this building. Just because the concierge is strict? I feel secured and safe in this building because of how strict it is. Do you want weird people to walk into your building? Do you want the security to let everyone in? I'm glad that they yell at delivery people, when they are not supposed to enter the building without buzzing the resident. I am glad they up hold strict COVID protocols during the midst of the pandemic and kick everyone except the residence out of the lobby. And, If your realtor or visitor are unable to provide the accurate name of the resident, why should the concierge let you in? For all the years that I have lived here, it has been such a pleasant experience. The noise cancellation in the unit is AMAZING ( which you will never find anywhere else in downtown). I don't even know if my neighbour exists (they certainly do) because I never hear them EVER. There's also no smoking allowed in this building. I have reported some units on my floor and the security investigated promptly. Regarding to the elevator, its always smooth. I might have to wait for 5 minutes during rush hours but what can you do when you have a huge population going into the building at once. Amenities are amazing. How do you get such a nice gym view at 50+ floor anywhere else in DT.
