The place is good, but the prices are too high for second hand kids clothing

This "Revolver" backfires! I drove from Ancaster with the sole purpose of checking out this store. Was the only one in there - for about five minutes & the staff member behind the counter didn't acknowledge me in any way. NO smile, nod, Hello - nothing. In an era where we are encouraged to support small business - this unwelcome atmosphere is a surefire fail. Boooooooo!

I know this place for over 20years now. When my daughter was a little girl, I used to go there and buy the most beautiful dresses for a great price. Lovely service and gorgeous selection of ladies clothes and accessories and shoes makes this place unique shopping experience.

I have found countless treasures here over the years. Definitely the best place in Burlington to find brands like Aritzia, Lululemon and Free People at a fraction of the cost. They also have a great selection of designer denim. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Whenever I pass through Burlington I can't help but stop by.

It is a nice store, but like most consignment shops the prices can be somewhat over priced, especially for children's items. And as with most consignment shops you are not always going to find a treasure, but over many visits I did find some nice items. They do carry brand names, but nothing on the extreme high hand. If you want top luxury brands then you'll probably have to search in Toronto. Overall it is a good store.

I normally don't write reviews, but was frankly very put off by the 'customer service' person that I encountered. I came in there to sell a bin of clothes and all of my pieces were nice, clean, folded, and current. There were Aritizia pieces (one with a tag on), Banana Republic, Le Chateau, Club Monaco, H&M etc. Now I understand that this place is only interested in brand name, but the person was rude from the onset. Firstly, I was noticeably struggling carrying the bin in (opening the door, etc.) and found it off-putting that she just watched me and didn't try to help. I've sold at Platos before and they normally help lift the bin onto the counter as a comparison. When I informed her that I was looking to sell some pieces, she continued her coldness, just staring at me. When we were going through my items, she unfolded everything and ended up piling everything all over her the table (not refolding and also, not sorting because she rejected everything). She also told me to pick the items that aren't 'fast fashion', which I did, and none of it was good enough. When I asked her why she didn't like any of items (especially the Aritzia pale straight silk dress with the tag) she made up an excuse about the styles. Again, I've sold at multiple places and it was her demeanor plus the fact that she just left me there with clothes all over the table to refold myself after she rejected everything!! I understand that Platos is a little more relaxed, but they are always friendly when they reject clothes and help their customers. I hope others have a better experience selling here because I can't for the life of me understand her snobbery and rudeness.

I sell and consign my closet regularly, and I decided to try out Twice The Fun/Revol'ver - long story short, don't! Items don't sell quickly, store is unorganized with your belongings and doesn't pay well. I brought in my slur of items on June 29th. I am diligent on my items and their sale cycle and I called in September, 2 weeks prior to my cycle's expiration to pull my items for pick up but they told me that nothing has sold and it's better to extend the items through into the new year since it's 'busier' during the holidays. I called back in February to see what had sold and to pull my items for pick up. They said there was nothing to pick up because they weren't told to and everything had been donated, and my account has roughly $13 and change. Frustrated and confused, I visited the store to figure out what was happening with my account, since the lady was occupied, I took the time to walk around the store.. seeing my items on various racks - and their feature wall! The lady that helped me, older, blonde, glasses, Lisa I think her name was, wasn't the nicest, kinda gave off a "i'm too good to be here" vibe - clicked around on her computer and with a shrug told me that all my items were long gone, donated. From there I spent 2 hours combing through the store finding my own items, all of which she claimed was donated. For my account, that has been credited $13 and change.. they barely even know what they were! Luckily I had my own list of what I brought and from eilimiation, I made $13 from 2 Michael Kors blouses and a Diane Von Furstenberg top over 6 months. By far the worst customer service and attitude, lack of responsibility and care. I highly suggest to check out Plato's Closet or Style Encore - much better establishments than here, and from my experience, you'll make more from what you bring in too!
