★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No prepaid return slip! Items from Sportcheck are normally large (shoe box for example) therefore shipping isn’t cheap.
Something wrong with the product? No worries, pay for the return Mr. Customer.
Not a good business model. Because of this I’m not ordering a replacement item from them. Business lost.
Compare to Under Armour. Same issue (wrong shoe size). Free return slip provided so I ordered the replacement item from them. All done within a week. I will order from them again knowing I won’t pay for a return should I need it. Same good experience with Amazon.
Also, the customer service line with SportCheck has been busy for the past 30minutes “because of the pandemic”. This is a year after Covid started! They had time to hire more support reps but didn’t. They had time to adjust return policies during a lockdown but they didn’t.
You’ll end up like Sears unless you start providing actual customer service. You need to understand that you’ll increase long term profits by investing in support and customer experience. When customers feel they are treated as mere credit card numbers they will jump ship. So long Sportcheck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you to the staff at this particular location. I bought a jacket online with a security tag stuck to it. They had to send the jacket to another location to remove the tag. Went the extra mile and I will keep buying from Sports Check just because of this experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I regularly visit this location for all my sporting good needs. I am always blown away by the first class service I get when I walk through the front doors. All of the staff members make you feel completely at home but it all starts at the top with store manager Elliott. Even after my purchase I had run out of gas in the parking lot and out comes Elliott to drive me over to the gas station. I would vote for Elliott to run our country! Go Elliott Go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in store to buy a few items. They didn't have stock of all, so I was able to order online in store and no delivery charge! If you have the time to go on store, it's a good way to save on the delivery if they don't have stock.

My experience was bad. I checked in and waited 15 mins for them to acknowledge I was there. Gave up and went inside. Told the sales associate at the cash that I had been waiting and she said yea that’s not her job, no apology nothing. She got a sales associate to bring out my item. I advised that if the curbside pickup program isn’t working they should take the option down so people dont wait (I wasn’t being rude fyi). She replied not it’s my job.
Not that she would let someone know, not that she was sorry. Just not my job.
So is it my job to find your superior and tell them how to do your job? Very rude. Couldn’t believe it. Surplus of staff in the store chatting (understandably as no customers) but the lack of service was dismal from that employee. I would fire her honestly, or retrain. Absolutely ruined my experience.
