D	Darlene Wong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheesecake Emporium I stopped by this latest location for a slice of their delicious cheesecake to go. They had a refrigerator case displayed with a multitude of flavours like: pumpkin, key lime, raspberry white chocolate and cherry & chocolate to name a few. I couldn't pass up the chocoholic cheesecake. It was a marbled chocolate that was not too sweet, silky and smooth baked on a chocolate cookie crust. It was missing a berry coulis or a berry garnish & whipped cream garnish. The contrast of tart to sweet would have taken it over the top. Unfortunately my take out container had no embellishments whatsoever- no even whipped cream! It just looked as if the cheesecake was just plunked in. Bare bones, no finesse. This location was the former Death by Chocolate cafe. Large windows, moderate amount of lighting, typical cafe seating for two. Sandwich boards have the same morning specials found at their other locations; muffin & coffee, scone & coffee priced at $3.95 and up. As I recall from other past visits, their muffins are tender and moreish. Looks like my next visit will be for a muffin & coffee break.
P	Parker Goertz (PlzPageDrTinyCat) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got a "Trees"-size rooibos tea and Key Lime Cheesecake. Getting "Trees"-size drinks is a pretty hilarious gimmick. I would come here for that rather than the cheesecake. The cheesecake was good and they have seasonal flavors (New York is the best, Key Lime close second), but I will keep coming for the comically large coffee. Also, lots of windows and people watching. Good ambience.

And I then asked the cashier what kind of tea they offered. Before I made payment, I noticed on the screen that the male cashier included both organic coffee and tea in the bill. I told him I did not order coffee. But he challenged me TWICE that I did say coffee. And he made the coffee already and put in in front of me. But I am 100% sure I DID NOT say COFFEE. I am not that forgetful. What I said was organic TEA. I wondered how come he assumed I ordered COFFEE. And he seemed to put the blame on me rather than say sorry. The pronunciation between tea and coffee is so different right? How come he seemed so confident as if it was me who made the mistake...... After I finished eating, I did not find any napkins, When another staff came over to ask if she could take away the plate, I said ok. Then I kindly asked her if they had napkins. And she replied “ of course “. So I waited and waited, but she did not bring me any napkins. Neither did she tell me where I can find napkins...... disappointing service.
S	Sartaj Singh on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was super nice, good aesthetic and a good place to get a bit of work done! Coffee was alright. The chocolate banana bread was outstanding! Had it toasted/warmed up with some whipped butter, highly recommend!
