1595, 200A W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6J 1W6 Wrong address convention! Unit number first, street number then street name. Do something good please. Should be: 200A, 1595 W Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6J 1W6

I barely write any comments at all but since everyone is basically rating this place bad with negative comments so I feel like saying something. I went there this morning for passport renewal and I would rate it as a good place in general. The place is really efficient and the staff were friendly and patient but talking in a fast phase and that was because the place was PACKED with people. It's true that they dont have a set of appointment time, and all people go between 9-12 so if you wanna finish asap then you either go there really early or you go there later than the peak hour after 11(but before 11.45 otherwise they close for further appointments). And you hv to hv everything ready with you including printed documents, photos and a CD, if you don't hv it ready then there is a store downstairs besides the consulate entrance where you can get ur documents printed and photos taken.

Confusing information in passport section. It says online reservations are OPTIONAL: η”³θ―·δΊΊδΉŸε―η½‘δΈŠι’„ηΊ¦η”³θ―·εŠžη†δΈε›½η”΅εζŠ€η…§. It is not optional but required. Also, do not follow this: εΉΆεˆ»ε…‰η›˜δΈ€εΌ ; save your money and get it digital. That page has not been updated since 2013, the information is outdated (yet it is still available for some inexplicable reason). This is the website for passport renewal: ppt.mfa.gov.cn/

Great service and really efficient. I got there at 11:10 and finished everything by 11:40. The key is checking the information on their website and preparing the documents before going there. However, they also have printing and photo service there too.

They don't answer the phone or emails. The wait is incredibly long. They gave me incorrect information that cost me lots of money and time, and they were very rude. There was also a mini riot or angry people due to the security not knowing the hours. In the end I never got my working visa and had to accept a different job in a different company after waiting for 4 months.

I just went there and got my passport renewed this morning. The process was in general professional and pleasant. I would give it a five star without reservation. Admittedly the website of the Vancouver consulate should have been designed better. The information about consular services should have been better elaborated. However, if you are careful enough, all the information is there. If you are well prepared with all required documents, things can be done very efficiently. The officials there are professional. They are not restaurant servants, so it is understandable they will not always be smiling. Yet they are friendly enough. Questions get answered accurately according to the laws. I don't understand why someone trolled angrily. If you abhor it so much, please do not go. Only decent people would be respected with decency.

Very fast service. Staff are incredibly nice. Screw the Local Guides β€” this is genuine China’s Consulate. Of course the spam callers will fake their numbers to match but this place is legit.

I went to renew my passport this morning, best experience ever! You can find all the info on their website, just read carefully. All the stuff are very friendly, I have everything prepared and it takes no time. The whole process takes around 2 min (in and out the building), amazing. Tip: it’s good to have your picture in CD and bring it with you. They even do not need actual pictures if you have CD. The lady in front desk told me that they can help adjusting the picture from CD in case it does not meet the requirements. (I think they may asking for CD for everyone renewing their passport?)
