β β β β β Been trying to get help for months, they should be reopened now and no one will respond to emails or phone calls which is very frustrating. The one in Toronto was super helpful maybe I should go there instead!

β β β β β I have had an awful experience trying to get calls back and follow up from the consulate in Vancouver. I have been trying for months to get support and its impossible to reach anyone most of the time.

β β β β β When my dad died, I had to update his census information. It was a really hard time for me and Tamas and his wife made it easy for me to understand which forms I needed to fill out. I came in on the posted times from Google, set up a meeting, and also later ended up updating my own passport, ID, and address information. The following year, I even got married and registered that marriage at this consulate. Really thorough and considerate staff. Thank you!

β β β β β The consul is very friendly and provides great, and fast service.
Location is very easy to find, I took skytrain, then 9 min walk from Grandview station. Consulate is on the 7th floor.
Need an appointment! (Link already attached to a comment) If you need passport, ID or other hungarian legal documents. They make the picture there, and have the finger print machine...all in one place. Very convenient! You just need to bring all the documents listed on their website, +Canadian Passport if you have is good idea to have it handy, for identification ?
