Treasures Jewellers - Bonnyville

Always have a good experience in this store. My husband and I have shopped for several pieces of jewellery at Treasure’s throughout the years and have always appreciated the helpful and knowledgeable staff and great selection!

The folks have gone to this store here for years. A story that stuck with me is one day an elderly man went to pick up a repair for a special ring for his wife. He obviously was on a pension. He emptied or close to, his wallet. I think it was Christmas. The blonde manager(owner maybe) put money back INTO his wallet. I will never forget that story. There is a reason they have been in business over 30 years and still standing when others have closed their doors.

Went to get my finger sized and was refused because “people shop on the internet so much these days” Well perhaps I was trying to find out for my boyfriend who was going to go there later? Having a petty policy like that just made me decide I won’t be shopping here ever. You’re losing more customers by refusing a simple service that by people shopping online.

Granted I only took a QUICK look around. But even for high end jewelry this place seemed expensive. I can not comment on their quality. I am sticking with Red Deer Goldsmith, they are worth the drive.

After having spent a decent amount of money here over the years, walk in today to get one of my fingers sized just so I can fit a ring on a different finger, I'm told it's 20$ just to use the ring sizer. Now just from buying stuff there and other places, I've always known that they (Treasures) charge more then they should for a lot of stuff compared to other jewelry stores, and it's to be expected because of the fact they're the only jewelry store in Bonnyville as opposed to Edmonton where there's a lot of competition. But after being condesendedly treated by what I believe to be the manager/owner and told I have to pay her to see the ring size chain, I'll never spend another dollar here. I've used the ring sizer before at a few stores here and there and NEVER been told there's a charge. Lol I just had to laugh and share.

If I could give 0 stars I would...worst retail store I have ever been in. The employees are uneducated and act extremely inconvenienced when you walk through the doors. April the store manager literally turned the lights off as a couple were browsing wedding bands. I have received several different pieces ( including engagement ring, black diamond ring, anklet, necklace) within 3 months all my pieces have fallen apart and they do not stand by their product...they do not offer insurance so I strongly recommend NOT buying your engagement ring or anything of sentimental value...they do not size or fix on site..so prepare to send your ring away for 8 weeks (brutal after you just get engaged). My engagement ring was originally mislabeled on the size..when I came in to resize the ring April the store manager gave me the thick men’s bands to test the size..so after waiting 8 weeks the ring was still too big and needed to be resent and resized again...which I had to pay out of pocket for (as the first sizing is free)...despite 2 separate mistakes on their part. They act extremely annoyed if you pop in and ask for a ring cleaning...the manager will roll her eyes and walk away. My engagement ring fell apart..my cluster of diamonds fell out during regular wear within 6 months of getting it and to fix it I had to pay the full price myself...again no options for insuring the ring. Unfortunately I love my engagement ring..I couldn’t bare replacing it so after paying to have it fixed I now keep it on a ring holder in my bathroom...I’m terrified of wearing it and losing my diamonds again...I really regret walking into that store and falling in love with it..I discovered Gateway Jewellers in cold lake...incredible selection..they size on site..they stand by their product..I recommend making the drive to cold lake for your jewellery needs. This store should be shut down..it’s an embarrassing representation of Bonnyville.

Staff is friendly and knowledgable. I have been a customer for over 10 years. I now travel from Cold Lake to Bonnyville as they are the ones i trust with my jewelry needs. They are a small local business, they may not have all the bells and whistles but shopping local is something that is important to me and i am always treated with kindness and respect. Ive always had a great experience! Highly recommend!

Warm, welcoming staff that are helpful and knowledgeable. Whatever your budget, they offer great options! Great quality jewellery at competitive prices. I love how they display the real product, not a prototype sample that many jewellery stores tend to do. Look forward to seeing the new stock whenever I’m in town!
