D	Debbie Kishineff on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our room was filthy, walls were all marked up, paint splatters, carpet was torn. The second we got in the room we regretted our choice. It was a plus that it was across the street from the hospital where we had an appointment but that was the only positive. We will never stay here again but found a great place called Scott’s Inn which is a short distance away. Next time we will stay there for just a few dollars more

The door looked like it had been kicked in at some point, and the chain latch was still broken as a result. There was no plug for the bathtub. The shower didn't work. There was no functioning heat in the bathroom. The heat lamp was burned out. In -25 weather there was one blanket and a bedcover. No top sheet. Likely could have fixed that by calling the office but it was late and we were bushed so we just used our sleeping bags. The only other guest I saw looked sketchy as hell, walking past me holding a big combat knife. Came back a few minutes later without it. Wish I was making this up. Big pile of frozen garbage right outside my door. Like, mid-thigh height big. Overall, the place is run down. Don't stay here.

When we went to our room it was so gross, dirty, dark and had an disgusting smell. We then proceeded to ask for our money back because the room was not up to standard. We were automatically charged $100 from booking.com even though the property doesn’t charge for cancellations. After our trip we called to get our money back and the rude, unhelpful manager lied to booking.com saying that we stayed the first night which was A LIE and we had proof we stayed at another hotel. The manager then amended his statement and said we “messed up the room” which was also A LIE, we didn’t touch anything. So we did not get our money back even though the room was unliveable and the manager was lying. Would never stay here and would not recommend to anyone.

I would like to make a few comments in regards to our recent three day stay at this establishment. Let me first say that we stayed here because of it's close proximity to the Kamloops Regional Hospital and made visiting a sick relative very convenient. Although somewhat dated, we found the two rooms that we stayed in to be very clean and we found that staff to be very accommodating. The breakfast provided was in a brown bag and of course was Continental and consisted of half a muffin, a yogurt, a juice box and a piece of fruit. This was certainly no frills but completely adequate for our needs and of course the room was equipped with a two cup coffee pot. If you're looking for a clean affordable room and close to the hospital/downtown this is it!! I don't hesitate to recommend this establishment and I feel that they have, on a few occasions gotten an undeserved bad rap!!!

The room they put us in was in the building across the street from the main one. It was absolutely disgustingly dirty. Carpet was filthy….pillows had been used….hair and creases. The smell was horrible. I actually was shocked. Turned around and left. It looked like a room that a sleazy hotel would rent by the hour. I went to the office and requested a different room or a refund/ cancellation of my card charge. The clerk was very aloof….no apology or anything….said there were no other pet friendly rooms. He did eventually give us a non- pet room even tho we had a dog. It was better but still not great. Found a nail clipping on the carpet beside the bed….damage to the room that hadn’t been fixed etc. And it was noisy….sounded like a family of elephants were above us. Definitely will not ever stay there again.
J	Jennifer Hewitt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was clean. There was a random lamp that wasn't plugged in and there were no available outlets for it, which I found weird. The outside corridor was very clean. The location would've been perfect had it not been for surrounding roads being closed for construction, causing us to drive around just to get to the hotel. Their signage states they have continental breakfast, however Denny's was a quick 3 minute walk up the road. The hospital and court house is across the street. The area is generally flat with just a very slight incline that is hardly noticeable. The surrounding hotels on the street seem to house BC housing tenants who live there long term.
R	Ryan J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very surprised by my stay here. The room was not clean and smelled like mildew. The only heat was a tiny heater free-standing on the floor. In my opinion, what was provided should not be permitted at a hotel in Canada. Very very disappointed. Far far far below the standards that I would expect from a Wyndham establishment. I can honestly say I will never stay at this establishment again. I honestly have health concerns based on the state of the room. It was very expensive for what was provided. Reminded me of the Regal hotel in Vancouver in the early 90's.
T	Ty Scriver on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since I can’t give give this a 0…. Room was dirty. We stayed 3 nights as we were here for my daughters soccer tournament. All the staff did while we were out during the day was take the wet towels and leave clean ones. They didn’t vacuum, make the bed or clean anything, like I assumed they would????? There was a 1/2” gap at the bottom of the door to our room on the latching side so we heard everything outside all the time, plus upon arriving back to our room one evening, our room stunk like smoke so I can only assume someone was smoking outside our room (hopefully outside, cause at this point, who really knows). I booked the room because it had a pool for my daughter. There was supposed to be free breakfast included (only 6-9am? Most go till at least 10am). The pool was closed, there was NO breakfast, and the office was locked (6:45am) when we tried the door. We will never stay here again. YUCK!
