I purchased a new Thor Vegas . Purchasing it was the easy part .. There is a number of warranty issues & they said to drop it off in 3 months. It sat in their yard over winter outside for 6 weeks ( I have indoor storage )The rv power cord & miscellaneous things went missing . I got it back , used it once & there were more warranty issues . They said it would be 3 months to get it back in. The stereo, camera screen failed . They brought in a new one , which I paid another company to install , because I wanted to use it in a timely fashion . I had to return failed stereo before they would give me the new one . It would have been less expensive to do it in one shot . The service department was rude every time I had to deal with them . I could go on & on about the terrible service . I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TRAVELHOME TO ANYONE!!!!!!! 5 negative stars

Really surprised to read some of the negative reviews of Travelhome, Abbotsford. Some are criticisms of the RV industry in general, not Travelhome. For example, no RV retains its value; you don’t buy one as an investment! Also, RV service simply takes a lot of time everywhere, from making appointments to actual completion of work. You just have to plan well. These are things you’ve got to know going in to owing an RV. Back to Travelhome… we can’t say enough positive things about this small company, much smaller than others. It began with our purchase of a new R-Pod 178 back in the spring of 2018. Our sales experience was like being led through the maze of RV options by a caring friend (thanks, Sandra!) rather than a pushy salesperson, or being simply ignored when we wandered through the salesfloor at other RV companies. Since 2018, the Service Department has been truly excellent, not only in their technical and mechanical service of our R-Pod, but in their personal warmth, friendliness (a year later, and Shawn still remembered my name when I dropped by unannounced!) and efficiency. Beyond regular service appointments each spring, Travelhome has quickly responded to any last minute question or emergency issue, either over the phone or by us dropping by. We’ve had a technician come out do a quick fix there on the spot, or patiently guide us through something we should have known ourselves. In short, we have found Travelhome to be a great company with great people. Highly recommended. Lawrence and Kay McAllister

Shopped all the dealers in the lower mainland and Victoria. The sales staff here were the most helpful by far! The sales manager even came over and introduced himself to me and asked me how my experience was which never happened anywhere else. Will definitely be back once we are ready.

I have not bought a trailer from Travel Home and based on my experience with their service department, I never would. I have been dealing with both a service writer and the service manager since August of 2021, trying to have one of my customers get some warranty work done there. Warranty claim had already been approved and I emailed both people on the procedure need to file their own claim with the trailer manufacturer (Forest River) as our dealership is in another province and quite a long drive. The service advisor said they would get him taken care of. When I spoke to the service manager months later, he had no record of this so I emailed him as well and again was told this would be dealt with. fast forward to today, 5 months later and they still have not done the work. My customer has met with the service manager to try and resolve the issue (parts have not arrived yet) but no further information has been forthcoming. In desperation, my customer reached out to me today to see if I could help. In 5 minutes, I was able to contact Forest River directly, confirm that a claim by Travel Home would be approved as the original claim was not completed by us, confirm the Travel Home had not even submitted a claim, nor had they ordered parts. It is kind of hard to get an ETA on parts when you haven't ordered them. I manage the service department at a small family owned dealership and if I delivered the quality of service I am seeing from Travel Home, I would understand if I got booted out the door

Part 1: Unfortunately, I have had to start to pursue multiple escalation pathways to entice Travelhome into action to perform warranty work that they have told is necessary to allow my tent trailer to function properly. By way of context: I purchased a new trailer in June 2020 and from the first time I set it up in my driveway, on the date of purchase, there were multiple issues which compounded to result in the door being unable to fasten properly when in use. I raised the issue with Travelhome that day. Over the course of 10 months, I worked with Travelhome to troubleshoot the issues starting with trialing several quicker fixes, to see if the issues could be resolved, but ultimately the correct fix, as I was told, was more involved requiring new parts. We agreed in, May 2021, that I would use the trailer for the 2021 season and Travelhome would order the parts and we would schedule the trailer in in the fall when the parts had arrived. I agreed to this plan. By this point I had 4 trips (600km) to the dealership, a home visit from one of their staff, and several hours booked off work to accommodate this troubleshooting process. In the fall of 2021, I had multiple attempts to contact Travelhome that went unanswered and when I finally made contact. They had parted ways with the prior service manager and the service department denied knowledge of the issues. I have re-educated the team on the issues I have experienced and taken my trailer back to the dealership (now 5 trips and 750km); this was several months ago. I am now under the impression that they do not want to fix the trailer as the new service manager is working to discredit the prior service manager. I have had commitments made from Travelhome that I would be contacted by certain timeframes (these commitments did not happen) and I now have multiple unanswered phone calls and voice mails attempting to get a resolution. My intention here is to get my trailer in functioning order so I can use it to make memories with my family. At this point, I strongly recommend that anyone looking to purchase a trailer conduct their due diligence on the dealership that they are considering using. I cannot in good conscience, and will not, recommend this company to anyone.

Our experience has been amazing so far, Jordan helped us to find a perfect travel trailer and we are in love with it. Gerry helped us with his knowledge and we believe we got a very good day. Our 30" long Rockwood Ultralite is sitting in our driveway and been preparing for some adventures.

I went to the RV show in Abbotsford as I was just starting my search for a new travel trailer. This was the first time I was buying one of these and wasn’t sure on exactly what I was looking for. As I was walking through the show, Mark Smith introduced himself and helped me select the perfect travel trailer for my family. Super happy with everyone that I met at the dealership as well. Right when we walked in we were greeted by reception and then introduced to the finance manager. Everyone was organized and ready for our appointment.
