★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic experience from the first exploratory phone call to the pickup of my trailer after getting a repair done. Explained every detail and the cost was far more reasonable than I had expected. I’ll be going here for all my needs going forward. Special kudos to Jason who was extremely helpful. Also, there just seemed to be a good overall vibe there. Everyone— even those who weren’t providing me service— was friendly.

Staff consistently are courteous, professional and make efforts to ensure customer is happy. Today the service department provided complementary services at no charge and kept us informed on the progress of the work on our unit.
Highly recommend both sales and service team as both have exceeded expectations!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am writing this review a year late but nonetheless I am sure it still applies.
We took our Northstar camper (which we purchased in the states and was still under warranty) to Getaway because the furnace was not working. The guys there did their best to fix the furnace the unit came with but eventually had to replace the whole thing and dealt with Dometic regarding all the warranty issues on a camper they didn’t even sell us. On top of that, while they were working on the camper and waiting for parts it started getting below freezing outside and they winterized the rig so nothing was damaged.
Thank you Jason and your team for being so patient and going the extra mile for us. If you need service for your RV these guys should be your first stop!

Twelve out of ten (12/10)
September 2021 our truck and camper were rear ended in a 3 vehicle pile up. We limped over to see Jason (service manager). Our Lance camper was purchased in 2000 (22 years old) was all smashed in at the back, bumper hanging by a thread and the camper was in really bad shape. Jason and his crew took it on, with its age, Lance didn't make all the parts. Thanks to David, he hand crafted a bumper, now it looks better than new. ( lots of other metal work). Jeff crafted new sides of the camper, plus our batteries are safe and sound. Thank you Jeff for spending hours on repairs making everything right again. Jason again spent a lot of time finding things to fit, example, our grey water tank was cracked and he had to search the web to find something to fit. Thank you Jason, Jeff, David and others for not giving up on our unit. All your hard work allowed us to get back on the road again, we can't say enough fantastic things about your efforts. We came as customers and left as friends. Check their Social Media for lots of photo's of before and after of repairs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Getaway is great! We waited a long time for our Alto ( supply chain issues unrelated to Getaway) and Gerald Evans helped me spec out the details and navigate the wait. On pick up day Jamie was amazing spending 2 hours + going over every detail and question. He has answered a few texts since. This made a real difference in my confidence and a first time owner.
When one installation wasn’t done they jumped on it and fixed it on the spot while we had lunch. Jamie went over the ad ons needed too - vehicle levelers and such which their store can provide if needed. They then brought the Alto across the border dealing with customs issues etc and then hooked everything up for the drive home. We were were pleased with our total experience at Getaway RV!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Missy at Get-Away RV Center was excellent at communication and answering all my questions. She co-ordinated everything prior to coming to purchase my Bushwacker 10FB. I was travelling from Vancouver Island and everything was in place for financing and pick up. Jamie helped me with making sure I understood all the features and how to operate them. He was very thorough and focused on safety before hooking my trailer to my jeep.
I’m very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend them for your next RV purchase.
