★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Racist store manager named Stephanie sold me a toy in a smashed up box, i inquired before purchase if that would be any issue if i had to return it she said no. Upon opening it at home i realized it was missing all the accessories, when i tried to return it she refused saying she can’t resell it due to the box condition. I told her i was assured i could return it as i purchased it like that, she did not care. I offered to walk with her to the shelf and show her all the ones they are selling are in the same condition, she refused saying she will not be doing that. All the others of the shelf are in worse condition than the one i bought, the only obvious reason for her refusal is she is a racist old lady. I went to another store and they gladly returned it without hesitation. Racist Stephanie should be fired.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All parents please be aware of this location. There is a very mean and difficult old woman in the return department. My child received two of the same leap frog gifts and all we did was look at the toy and realized it was exactly the same. She did not play with the toy. We had a gift receipt and tried to return it but this very difficult employee decided that if it was so much as been open though not turned on Toy r us will not exchange or return the toy.
Please be aware that your toys might not be accepted so now my child has two of the same things. Guess I will have to drive to another toys r us because of a ridiculously difficult woman.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great customer service from Sandra today! My sister and I came in looking for a stroller/car seat set and Sandra came to us, asking if we needed help. She knew every product we asked about (SO HELPFUL). She was patient and made our decision so easy. Thank you Sandra!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was a toy that was missing a part (toy shark) because someone must have taken it. Since that was the last item available, a manager named John went out of his way to provide us with that toy, PLUS another box of toy sharks (10 sharks in total) and still gave it to us at a lesser cost than if we bought it complete. John never said much, never said his name, never made a big deal..but quietly went out of his way to help us. Both of my sons appreciated John's help (I asked the cashier what his name was, lol). Thanks again John. Much appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been visiting this location for several years now and every visit has been positive. Not many locations in Toronto have what I'm looking for if it's exclusive or isn't stocked in bulk, so it's kinda hard to hunt for what I'm looking for at times with others picking stuff up before I get the chance. I was luckily able to make an online order of an item I'd been searching for for months now, so I guess when they got their shipment in, I was able to order the last one for in store pick up and all it took was a 15 minute drive from Scarborough to the Pickering location. Was very happy that my order was fulfilled right away after Family day, plus I got the chance to browse around and see their new layout. I was told by a lovely worker (Stephanie) that they were setting up a book store in the center, I guess to promote reading and learning more to children. She was very kind after seeing that I was standing in line for a couple extra minutes, also greeted and talked with me for a bit about their new floor plans and how I came from out of the my city to come pick up my figure. The service was great, the staff is always kind/helpful and it was nice getting to see what got put where for my next visit. Glad I got to swing by on my day off and find something I've been lookin' for to add to my collecting. Keep up the great work! still gonna continue to shop here when given the chance.
