Do not rent from this place! What a nightmare it was dealing with my girlfriend’s move out, they’ll scam you of your deposit and whatever else fees they can find to charge you!

Great place just moved in and I love the area

I wasn't planning on writing a review for this place but I have to warn anyone looking for a new rental. I was a resident here for 2 years and it was possibly one of the biggest mistakes I made. What originally attracted me was I needed a place that I could move in right away and I put that ahead of actually caring where I lived and that was a huge regret of mine. The suites are terribly fitted, the walls are thin and you can hear everyone around you. It constantly smells like cigarettes' because ALL SUITES ARE CONNECTED THROUGH THE VENTS! For a 2 bedroom apartment you're looking at $1450 which is over $100 more than any other new development with way more amenities. If you like sharing laundry with the ENTIRE building this is your place as there is no option for in-suite for $1450!! They say that there is security on site but whenever I'd call they'd ask if it was worth coming to Airdrie for because they are based in Calgary and don't want to make the trip so they tell you to call the cops instead (so much for security). Honestly this place has completely gone down hill the staffing has changed and the girl that's managing it now (which is named in every bad review) is absolutely terrible and makes living at Boardwalk feel like a joke. Please if this is your first place or looking for a new home for your family please look elsewhere I'm begging you. There's so many other better options for cheaper.

I usually do not give reviews good or bad and I am sure there are many out there like me especially those who actually have good things to say about a product or service. Humans are naturally quick to complain and so I understand why most people who feel bitter would quickly go on their laptops/phones and attempt to drag a company/product through the mud. I am making an exception as what I have experienced here so far should be shared. I have been here for a couple of months and I not only love the apartment for its nicely kept exterior and curb appeal but also for its proximity to essentials. I particularly love the energy of the landscapers as well as the professionalism and commitment of Peter, who holds the forte as the resident manager. He, against all odds, goes above and beyond as much as possible, as I have often observed, to please and make tenants happy including myself inspite of my little outburst. He understands customer service and communication, and even when things seem to be tough, there is his calm disposition about a positive outcome. The cleaners also ensure a clean building however, maintenance response time could be quicker. I truly think this team is amazing and though, we (tenants) expect the world of them, I believe they are humans and perfection isn't humanity's greatest strength or attribute. The building is not exactly new but it is well maintained compared to some other apartment buildings I have lived. I only wish it was a strictly non-smoking building as you are allowed to smoke in your suite but not the common area and I am a non-smoker and still tend to perceive the odor but I understand boardwalk tries to accommodate everyone. Overall, I would say the 5 star goes to the current team as I know changes happen. Kudos!

I moved to Airdrie with my fiance from Toronto about 6 months ago. For a place i made a deposit on without seeing in person, i am really thrilled with the outcome. The only hiccup (which has been meantioned in other reviews) is the smoking aspect of the building. When we moved in during the heatwave, our apparent smells horrendously of cigarettes (we don't smoke). The air quality was so poor from the stale cigarette smell and the heat that we ended up going to the hospital with respitory issues. Of course, the amazing staff (Peter and Eryn) were quick to help us get that sorted. They went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable and felt good living in our unit. After a few fogging sessions and new carpets, our apartment has been amazing. The area is fabulous with shops nearby & an amazing walking trail just behind the building that takes you to the regional park. The other tenants are always kind and the community is really great. Highly recommend!

I would like to share my wonderful experience i am having at Tower Lane. Staff are super friendly and always helpful. Peter and Francisco always provide excellent customer service at all time. All other staff goes above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who would like to feel at home in Airdrie. Keep up this fantastic service!
