★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normally I love the Kingsway torrid location as I get amazing service. However the last three times I’ve been in the service hasn’t been that great. I’m getting married in June and looking forward shape wear I had to go approach an employee to ask product info. One employee didn’t give off the hey I’m here to help you. I felt like I was inconveniencing her. I asked do you carry any shape wear that I see online. Can I order through store if I want something. I got a no and we carry spanxs over there. I asked does west Ed carry any also got a no. But no other service to help find anything. Once I went to where the spanxs were in store. I turned to ask the employee about sizing and was ignored as she had customers cut I front of my to ring in. So I just left no purchase made. Went in a second time on a different day thinking maybe I caught them in a off day I mean it’s retail I’m sure it happens. Was looking at the graphic tees when the one employee decided to pull out a pile of t shirts and board fold so I couldn’t continue to look at the tees. I felt like I was in the way. So I walked around and waited till she was done. The same associate went to her coworker by the door and started chatting. Clearly customer service wasn’t something important so I just left again not buying anything. Very sad to see one of my favourite stores having such poor customer service happening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have shopped here in the past. I enjoy your products. I was here on Remembrance Day, from out of town. I was in need of a few items. There was a sign at the door, due to Covid Restrictions that there was a limit aloud in the store, which I am ok with and to wait for someone to greet you. There was maybe three customers in the store at the time I arrived. No one invited me in. I finally walked in. I was never greeted by a single person, or asked if I would like a hand. After about fifteen to twenty minutes of browsing, I left without making a single purchase. I will spend my money elsewhere, if this is how you handle customers in your store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store is great for plus size folks. But most of the styles aren't too my particular taste. And a lot of it is very expensive. Their leggings are so comfortable and durable though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the best location in Edmonton. Though store hours are far less than the comparable WEM location. Kind and style savvy staff. Torrid is a plus size clothing store that has the most trendy clothing over any other store of its kind. There is always something on sale! With 1/4 of their store dedicated to clearance. They have VIP cards with additional promotions. And, my new favourite thing is that you can order online and pick up in store! Oh! And, they have gone above & beyond to keep their store safe & enjoyable by following covid prevention guidelines to a T.
10/10 recommend this store!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been in both stores in Edmonton and both provided horrible customer service. The girls don't greet customers or ask if you need assistance. They'd rather stand around and talk amongst themselves. No acknowledgement whatsoever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I LOVE coming to this store. Everyone who works here is so kind and helpful, and they have excellent senses of humor. They also provide solid fashion advice and make sure that you get your bang for your buck. Highly reccomend visiting if you're ever in Kingsway Mall

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Torrid on April 14 in the afternoon to exchange a couple online purchases for things that I wanted. The two girls at the counter were so kind, and were absolutely gorgeous! Dressed so nicely, and made we want to strive for that glamour! I love this store and I’m always treated well, and I’m never crowded which is nice. I prefer to be left to my own devices and seek help if needed.
