l	lisac on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my son to be assessed as recommended by his pediatrician. My son was struggling at school academically and socially. I needed someone I could trust to identify and his needs. Jancy King not only seen us in a timely fashion (the wait time for the ohip system was over a year!) but she also took time to explain the testing and the best plan to make it a less stressful time for my son and I. My son liked Jancy very much and looked forward to seeing her each day of the testing. The final product was a lengthy report filled with the test results, her observations and recommendations. I am very happy with the service and care we received. It was mentioned twice at the school that they had never seen such a thorough report, and they have been privy to many! Now, rather than still being on a waiting list, we are seeking out the help my son needs to bridge the gaps. I am so pleased!!! :)

2	2006mimi2007 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aggressive Psychologist (Jancy King) with superiority complexes focusing on belittling patients by making irrelevant unnecessary inappropriate remarks, encouraging mediocracy, and recommending medication focused intiatives, treatments, and diagnoses after 5 minutes of assessment. Set off the appointment with a negative, unfriendly tone then assumes someone has a disorder when they are simply deflecting inappropriate comments, or not stooping to her level. Prides herself in being a scientist - may be better for her to keep her nose in the stats books instead of projecting her own frustration on patients looking for a healing and conducive environment. Waste of $185 fund- I recommend doing your research to find a more competent and compassionate Psychologist.
M	Michael Luongo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ wasted $200 on a "consultation" with Jancy (I see common complaints about her here) where all we were told was that our child cant get therapy or treatment for another two years and in the meantime we should pay for their counselling services. Don't waste your time with these cash grabs, they offer nothing of value. We know our child needs an assessment and treatment, we were told an assessment is pointless. Counselling is offered free at many organizations throughout Toronto (Skylark), if you need real help you wont find it here. Update: seven months later we got counselling, therapy, and a diagnosis all free. Step daughter is currently going into in-patient care with borderline personality disorder, bi-polar, and sociopathic behavior. Just to update Jancy pretty much told us it was our fault and we were the problem before telling us an assessment was pointless. Once again, dont waste your time here.

My wife and I were going through some truly trying times and very close to ending our marriage until we received help from Toronto Psychological Services. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The therapy sessions were a huge help and no doubt saved our marriage. My wife and I are very grateful!
M	Michael Kaine on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have recently gone through the evaluation processes supplied by Toronto Psychological Services and it was a great benefit to me. Being able to write exams to the best of my ability was my concern and the evaluation done by Toronto Psychological Services showed that I had a learning disability. Based on TPS’s recommendation, I was given an additional 45 minutes of exam time. This additional time allowed me to do really well in my exam. Based on this, I highly recommend Toronto Psychological Services.
