While checking in, I chose the next available barber, and was assigned someone who I think is still in training. She did not know how to do a basic trim on the sides and was constantly helped by another colleague. I felt like a test subject sitting in the chair, where the guy was basically teaching her how to cut hair by practicing on me. Took them almost 40 mins to do the sides which didn't even turn out good. When I asked the other person to take over from her, he said that he is attending to other customers. After witnessing this, I scrapped my plans to get my top hair cut and just ended the cut early. Don't think it would have looked anything short of ugly. If I just wanted my sides cut, I would have chosen a different salon. To add to the issues described above, I wasn't even offered a shampoo, hot towel or anything for that matter, which I think is included in all cuts. Walked out 35 bucks short with an absolute worst experience. I did not expect such utter disregard of customers from Tommy Guns. I was skeptical coming in here after looking at all the reviews, but this experience just sealed the deal.

Kailey did an amazing cut and the fact that he was able to make my 3-year-old cooperate was a miracle! We will definitely be back
A	Andrew Pistell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a haircut on April 04 at this location. My hair was long and I wanted it short. The girl buzzed the sides and back way shorter than I expected. I was okay with that but when it dried I can see cut lines everywhere from the clippers and it is not evenly cut. I emailed a complaint a couple days later and received one response asking for the location and saying that if I come back within the week they will fix it. I responded back and explained that the sides and back need to grow a little because it's so short. I would be bald after the cut lines that showed skin were fixed. No reply yet. I had two previous haircuts there that were great. I guess it's hit or miss.

We showed up to the hillside location perfectly on time and the receptionist said rather rudely “you’re really early” as they had my son booked in for around 345, another 2 and a half hour wait from the original time. The receptionist then proceeded to tell me there was a issue with the website time estimation system and asked if I still wanted to wait. I was shocked, if you know there is an issue, perhaps work to fix it or have a message on the website. I can get that wait times are hard to estimate and would have been fine to wait another half an hour to an hour but to be off my two and a half hours? To me that shows a lack of professionalism. Went to a different barber downtown and had a wonderful experience.

Despite being extremely busy dealing with impatient customers and manning the front desk simultaneously, she went above and beyond to put effort into her craft and service. Seriously impressed. I recently moved in Victoria and I've had the same barber for nearly a decade, so I was quite nervous about finding a new place to get my hair cut. Lucky for me Tommy Gun's was the perfect fit!

I went earlier this year for the second time and was not satisfied by the haircut. I specifically asked to not get a skin fade and the barber gave me that exact haircut. I had to pay upwards of $40 for a haircut that I did not like at all, I should have tried to get a refund at the time. I wish that I would have received the haircut that I wanted, especially for that price. The photo on the left is the haircut I asked for and the photo I showed the barber shop.
