T	Taylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an awesome experience at Tofino surf school. Sam was a wicked instructor, and was super fun and outgoing. There are many different companies to take lessons from for surfing, and I’m sure many of them are great.. but I promise you can’t go wrong here. Sam got us already with wetsuits boots and boards and we headed out to the beach. We spent about a third of the time on the shore learning ocean no age, technique, and just how to do it! He was super funny and very helpful. Near the end, Sam also took our phone and took pictures of us surfing and on the beach. That was super awesome and we didn’t have to pay for it. We were doing so well, he even taught us how to break, accelerate, and turn which would be normally covered in the next couple of lessons.
M	Mike Bidniak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome bunch of free spirited young folks who are looking to share their passion for surfing. My wife and I had our first ever surf lesson with Tom and K-dog. Land lesson was awesome, casual but informative. Made sure we were gasping the surf method. They were great in the water also, pulling us aside to give us pointers and small corrections for a better outcome. Also our hype crew, which is important if you’re not finding it so easy. Would definitely recommend this surf school to someone looking to pick up a new skill. We had such a great time with our two instructors and learnt so much. Also caught some waves. Win win win ?

He was clear & effective in his communication of safety precautions and surf tutorial. It was my first time surfing and after one initial push I was able to catch waves the rest of the time on my own. We had a stellar experience - the weather was great, waves were bomb, and the school was professional and took great care of us!!! Thank you!

The communication leading up to the lesson was great and the the beach where we took our lesson was amazing. The instructors were very helpful and easy going. After the initial lesson took place on the beach the instructors gave us space and freedom to experience surfing on our own, but were available to help anytime we had questions. Thank you for a great introduction to the sport, would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tofino and looking to try surfing for the first time.

She can explain a lot in details and provide great feedbacks to help building your confidence while on the water! I had a difficult time to pull up on board at start, Lou was able to chop down my actions and just set little goals for me to successfully stand up on board and ride the waves! Sooooo much funnnnn! Staff were great, equipment were in good conditions, we really just had a great time. Highly recommended! Book ahead! :)

Also very beginner friendly beach even as somebody with no experience you will have success and fun! When doing the group lessons they could take a bit more time with each one while in the water to explain what you could do better.
L	Laila PT on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did a lot of research prior to choosing a company to have surf lessons with. Tofino Surf School did not disappoint. Raf was a super rad guy and really made us feel safe and ready to catch a wave. I signed up alone for a lesson (my friend wanted to do yoga instead) and felt super welcomed in our group lesson. We had 5 in our group. Each one of us got up at least once! The wetsuits kept us warm and they made sure the boots and gloves fit before we headed out to the beach. We had dry land instructions/tips first which were very helpful. I felt super confident hitting the water and was able to get up multiple times no problem. Beautiful day and had such a fun time. Would highly recommend Tofino Surf School! Affordable too! I will be back for another lesson when I'm back later this year. Thank you! Thank you!
