★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was supposed to be the Nashville chick'n burger, arrived extremely burnt and inedible. When we called the service was really great, they refunded the burger, gave us a free cupcake and made a new one. Unfortunately this one was also quite burnt but at least edible this time. The onion rings were great and my partner's burger was okay but quite dry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have gone here time and time again for years now and am never let down, I have brought non vegan friends here and they also say it’s the best vegan food experience they have ever had. I’ve tried many items off the menu and love trying new limited options. one of my faves is the loaded Mac n cheese. Very friendly all over really good experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious! The patties are tasty and super moist, very good consistency - not hard or dry, nor chewy, just perfect. The best flavor is probably the "smokin" - pair it with "bacon" and you're golden. Crispy fries were a great combination. Staff is super friendly and the environment is cozy, not pretentious at all. Great variety of different patties, sausages and pickles. Honest prices. I'm not even vegan, but I can confidently say it was one of the best burgers I had - ever! We were so sad for not being able to buy some of their products (because we couldn't store it in a cooler before going back home), but then one of waiters gave us a slice of cake, on the house. So kind :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply delicious Thanksgiving dinner. Seasoned and browned the Stuffed Beast briefly in butter in a skillet, then roasted according to directions in seasoned butter broth. Served with my usual veggie accompaniments and mushroom gravy. The flavor and texture of the beast was great, and the stuffing is total yum, both savory and slightly sweet. Made for a delightful, festive holiday dinner. Thank you, Very Good Butchers!

I was incredibly impressed with their new butcher’s select flippin’ good burgers, bratwursts, and breakfast sausages! They’re very realistic, taste really good, cook well, full of nutrients, and really filling! I will be purchasing them over the beyond and impossible meat from now on. I love the location of the place, great for parking. I also appreciate the slightly later hours, it makes it easier to go after work! The staff are so delightful too!

visiting Victoria from Toronto, finally got the chance. They didn’t disappoint! Even their drink selection was great- Caesars had recently been added to the menu, which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything we tried was so flavourful and amazing, and all the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The only thing we were upset about is that we couldn’t take any pantry items with us- we’ll be placing an order in the future for sure!

I used to order from their monthly meat box for years until I moved overseas, so I try to stop in every time I visit home. This last visit they really exceeded my expectations - food, location, menu, everything feels like it's improved. And it's not just a fantastic restaurant, but a great place to go and pick up some prepared plant based meats to cook at home. We ordered the Mac n cheese, meatball sub, chicken sandwich, with a side of bacon. All fantastic.
