★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had such a wonderful time here! The food and drinks were very tasty & reasonably priced. Has a great selection of classic & niche board games. The service was great & our table even got tutorials on how to play each game by the staff so we didn't need to spend time reading through the rule book :) Would strongly recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great place with great people! Nick and Alyssa are so welcoming and their game knowledge is second to none! My husband and I were new to Victoria and we loved coming here. The Tuesday trivia nights are great, the cookies are so tasty (as is all the food), and they have a board game to suit every gamer (or non-gamer). You can go for a classic, or try something new in the knowledge you will receive excellent guidance on the rules. Cannot recommend enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great place to be with a chill, low-key atmosphere. This business is family owned and the owners remembered me the next time I came in. I am a fan of being able to order food and drink from the table via the provided tablets. They have a variety of games for play and purchase, and if what you're looking for is not available, they can certainly bring it in. The game I had brought in was cheaper purchasing through this store than amazon, plus it allows me to accumulate points for future purchase on a punch card. Support local businesses!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really fun spot for a night of board games. Good setup, good selection of games. The snacks were good, and everything was so reasonably priced. We've been twice now and will be back. The staff are really nice and helpful, always coming by to offer help with rules and learning the games. Having the tablet for placing orders works well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nowhere beats the staff here. So incredibly welcoming and helpful. I've yet to visit a more friendly board game cafe in any city. The games are super well organized and the selection is great. If they don't have it, they'll order it. Also super affordable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an absolutely amazing time tonight celebrating our son’s birthday. The owners are amazing with suggesting games and then quick tutorials to get you going. Food prices were reasonable (we got mostly just snacks). We stayed for 2.5 hours and our kids left very happy and excited to go back. Highly recommend checking this place out. We had played at another cafe pre-pandemic and though we found them comparable the service here far outshines. We were able to spend more time playing then searching for new games and learning to play them because of the amazing owners. We will be back very soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Board with Friends Café is amazing! What a lovely space and atmosphere here. The folks who run it are super-friendly and ultra- knowledgable (are these enough superlatives to get it across?) which is a great combination. You can talk board games in detail, get great advice and get started playing anything, as their selection is huge! I loved the food and drinks service. We spent 5 hours playing at our table, and with their fancy but elegant iPad order system, we had snacks (chips, sodas), grilled sandwiches (think top-notch sandwich kind of stuff), and even a few beers delivered to our table. The place is really clean and you get the sense that COVID is taken seriously so I felt very well protected and cared for here. all my friends agreed this was a hidden treasure in Victoria, we were very glad to have found, like we rolled a 20!
