★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent vibes and tunes here. The menu is varied and entrée portions are massive! Each one could feed two so don't be afraid to share. The Tuna Nicoise Salad blew my mind! ?? Incredible flavor. We also had Salmon Toast as well as the Flatbread pizza. The drink specials are creative and tasty Such a delightful dinner. We'll be back to this very chic spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just went again for the second time in 2 weeks. The bartender was on point and the food was to die for. Definitely an under-rated spot in victoria and some of the best food I've had at a decent price. Will always be a 5 star for Me and I love coming back any time I'm downtown

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy little bar tucked away under the stairs in the heart of downtown. tasty cocktails and great atmosphere. Jess was our server and she went above and beyond to make sure we're having a great time. Great place for a date or to catch up with a friend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seeking refuge from the cold and snow of Victoria this December we wound our way down into cenote, ready for warmth of environment, drink, and food. Unfortunately there was only warmth in the food, but it was truly a delicious warmth. The flatbread was delicious and the nachos were well made and filling. However, when coming in from the snow during the Winter season we were hoping for something, anything warm the drink, or at least the temperature of the restaurant to be warm. I understand that it is a bar and the large dollop of ambiance is the deal, but not even owning a kettle to make some warm water seemed a bit of an oversight to me, that and the fact that we had to keep our Winter jackets on during the whole service. Overall the food was good, a bit pricey for what it was perhaps, but good and scrumptious, but there is some improvement that Cenote could make for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nachos are one of the worst I've had. Cheese not melted and not enough to cover even half the nachos. $21 with a little chicken, salsa and sour cream not worth it.
Happy hour online says tacos but when we got there it was flatbreads. Disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casual and laidback place to grab a few drinks and bites with friends. The menu caters to different tastes, and their special drinks are a hit. We went when they had a vanilla grapefruit margarita that went down well with the whole table.
Had this place recommended to me from a list of best nachos in Victoria. Cenote definitely ranks high on the nacho list. The chips stand up and are miles ahead of big name prepackaged stuff. We got a good covering of toppings and the salsa was a standout. Would highly recommend grabbing the nachos if you’re a fan!
