They sell rotten / rotting produce. I've bought fruits & veggies from here that turn out to be spoilt on multiple occasions. There's no quality control whatsoever

Disturbing. They have the hot steam table open at Newmarket right at the front of the store and they're allowing people to touch all the serving utensils and spoon their own food into containers, moving from one bin to the next. I didn't see sanitizer. This is really not cutting down on Covid spread. Longos was one of the first stores to have mandatory mask-wearing at the beginning of this. What's happening, Longos? It seems to me that the manager doesn't understand the implications of multiple serving utensils being handled by multiple people. Nuff said. I would've taken a picture, except I was in such a rush to get out of there!

I came here every week, and yesterday had a very horrible shop experience here, bought a muffin and a women who usually works in the morning as a cashier checked me out. I was standing in front of her and asked her if she can help me pay for this, she was talking to her colleague and ignoring me pretending like she didn't see me standing there and waiting for check out. Finally she came to me and I scan the product and ready to pay, she walked away and continuing talk to her colleague ,so I had to turn the credit card terminal toward me by myself and try to pay. But it didn't work cause there was some kind of survey there which I didn't know what to do after this. So I ask again," Excuse me, this doesn't work.' She stopped talking to her colleague and showed very angry to me. I DID NOTHING WRONG ,I just wanted to pay for the stuff that I purchased and leave!!!What a horrible attitude to tread a regular costumer here ? That's a very bad shopping experience in Longo's at this location!!!

Great options for lunch. With the impressive salad bar, hotbar, pizza bar, sushi, bakery and selection of grab & go items- there is lots of choice. Be careful with the salad bar/hot bar, it can get fairly pricey as it's as weighted. Limited non-perishable item selection due to size of the store, but you can still get all the staples.

Very cold staff* Entrance - 4/5 ( a bit confusing ) Staff - 2/5 ( they were talking but at same time they were cold like no energy or interest ) Store cleanliness - 4/5 Variety - 4/5 ( they had good enough collection ) - I think it would have been a much better store with energetic employees.

*** Food spoiled on sale *** I use to buy some meals in the hot bar when it was available before the theatre of the Covid safety measures, but since the pandemic started, Longos removed this option and not very often I buy some ready meals on the counter, but what was my surprise yesterday ( August 16th) when I found a place with salmon and rice for 5,99 on longos downtown ( 111 Elizabeth St). I decided to take it as I always had Longos in a good image of quality, but what was my surprise when I tried to eat it. The Salmon was not very in a good condition, the meat had a very strong red color already, the smell was a bit bad . everything in the plate was already kind weird , like it was in a process of spoiled. HOW Longos could do this with the clients?! Selling a meal already in a bad condition for a β€œbetter β€œ price Just to gain a few bucks? Because of it, the grocery store is putting a risk their name, image, loosing a customer and even don’t mentioning causing poisoning to be selling spoiled food. I’m very, very disappointed and for sure I won’t buy anything there that’s already packed unless the hot bar is available again, and I’ll make sure some friends do the same after that. Very, very disappointed!

A mini version of a traditional Longo's in the heart of downtown in Dundas St W. Really nice product here, fresh meat, produce, seafood and hot and ready hood. The great thing about the hot and ready (yes as of the date I post this in a COVID-19 world), they have gone back to cafeteria style were you pick your portion size. I will advise if you shop at No Frills, Freshco or Food Basics... you will experience price sticker shock. This location has most of it's shoppers coming from the office towers or condos around, so their clients would shop here Farm Boy or WholeFoods.

This location is mobility accessible. They have automatic doors for easy access. There is a slight ramp in the store as there is a difference in levels for part of the store. The location has a lot of selection and is very spacious. There is a good selection of hot food, cold food to eat as is or warm at home. There produce is always fresh and a decent selection. They have a good selection of snacks and also necessities. Also as we walked in the staff member greeted us right away and was very friendly. It was a very welcoming experience. The store is also very close to Eaton Centre and Dundas Square and can save you some money vs eating at restaurants in the area.
