★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The store is beautiful when you first walk in, but don't let that fool you. They have very rude associates. Ian treated me with contempt and a very holier-than-thou attitude. I would not shop here. I would recommend going somewhere else to spend your money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was looking for a refresh with my living space. Came across The Living Lab and met Mike Nishio. WOW! What a professional! Extremely informative, detailed and friendly! I didn't feel like I was being sold, like some other places you visit. He was generally looking after my best interest. Worked with my budget and indecisiveness. I purchased the Plume Heather Bed to start and opted in for the white glove service from The Move Man that he suggested. I believe it's an affiliate company. Wow. Drivers had great COVID safety protocols and were done installation within an hour. They then removed all packaging!
I've just spoken with Mike again, and we'll be looking into many more pieces. If you're looking for a place that has a variety of options for a variety of budgets and want to work with a designer that is looking out for what YOU want - then see Mike Nishio! I've now found my interior designer for life!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mike was incredibly helpful when it came to the right couch for my husband and I. He took the time to look at pictures of our current set up and gave us advice on colour and next step ideas. When it looked like our couch might be a few weeks late they offered a loaner couch since we had already sold our old ones. Luckily we didn't need that as our couch arrived on time. We love it and can't stop stating that fact.

He expertly guided me to a color scheme and look and he helped me chose pieces I adore. More than that I felt like he cared and his follow up was exceptional. Thank you Mike!

Three years later, he devoted an afternoon to helping keep the sofa looking brand new after it became the preferred lounge spot for our young Labrador as well! It's clear Mike and the team are uniquely committed to their customers. I would give six stars if I could.
