T	The Epic Lalondes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I went to the Keg to have a special dinner together, during the middle of our family vacation. What they didn't tell us, was that their heat was broken inside. We absolutely froze!! Possibly why part of our food was also completely cold! The service was friendly, but lacking in attention. We did bring up, asking why it was so cold, and the manager then told us what was going on, and apologized profusely, before graciously comping part of our meal. We would likely give it another chance next time we come, in hopes of it being a bit more on par with The Keg standards.

We booked a table at the keg as we can rely on their wealth wealth food and service. However, this time it was terrible. First of all, we were sitting in our coats because there was no heat that day. But none of the staff let us know about that until we asked at the end of the night. There were no portable heaters as well to keep the place up to the living standards. We asked for a cup of hot water with lemon and were waiting for 15 minutes. The waiter forgot about it. And lastly there was a mistake on our bill that overcharged us. We provided our feedback through the booking service open table but the management didn't even respond. I do not recommend this place if you want to have a high quality of service.

The steak was cooked great and the chicken was flavorful and juicy. They also offer a large free bread on the house that was delicious as well. Overall, would highly recommend checking out

Dax was our server and he was so on top of everything. Sabrina also stopped by to see how we were enjoying this which was an extra touch we admired. The steaks were prepared by Rob and were the BEST we’ve had. For the quality of the food, the price was on point!

They first put us near other diners, but accommodated our request to be moved further away so we would not disturb them (our kids can be noisy). The atmosphere was pleasantly comfortable and upscale. The moment our waiter arrived, we knew we were in good hands! He was SO friendly and nice, he was kind to the kids, he was humorous, efficient, knowledgeable about the menu, and he made our experience so great! Our food arrived piping hot, and the crab dip portion was very generous, more than we could eat! The bread was a little tough in the crust, but the inside was soft and delicious. The prime rib was very fatty, but our server warned us of this. My rack of ribs was falling off the bone tender. It was my birthday, and when our waiter heard this, he offered me a glass of champagne or a piece of cheesecake to celebrate! In the end, we were in a hurry to leave in order to catch a movie, and our waiter was extremely fast at checking us out and wishing us a good night. Such an amazing experience. My only detractor was the cost of the kids meals, which were $15 for cheesy noodles and fries, although they did include a drink and ice cream. Overall, I will for sure be back soon!

My wife got the Prime Rib which was cold and lacked tenderness. My peppercorn steak was somewhat chewy and for 49 CAD it was a terrible cut. I will come back but will try something else..

The food continues to be great and served in a timely manner. The server Emily understood the dynamics of our family and how the children would eat their dinners best . The manager Graeme even helped move us closer to the fireplace for a real alpine cabin feel. We are very grateful for how the evening went and hope everyone can also have a great experience here. The Keg sized Caesar was also excellent - can't get that drink anywhere else in the world!
