N	Noah Russell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I were strolling through the village looking for somewhere to stop and get a drink after a couple hours on the slopes. We decided to try the Beacon. We were so thrilled to be greeted immediately by Ally. Ally took care of us and she was so fun to be around and gave wonderful service. She recommended some beer for us to try and everything was prompt. She really had the local inside scoop on some places to see and sent us on our way with a smile! Way to go Ally!

The menu was simple but tasty and perfect for that beer and pub food! Chicken wings to die for! Ordered few dishes to share and for pub food was really good! Fresh, homemade taste even when it’s not the healthiest but a treat! Service was great, sat upstairs so great view around the village. Very reasonably priced for an expensive place so all around great place for a snack and a drink. Highly recommend it!

I had a large fresh Caesar salad ($16) and my kid had the Beacon burger ($21). Patio is nice and toasty on a cool Spring evening. Decent portions and prices are expected for Whistler. I was expecting better service for a resort town. Our server seemed to hate her job and made no effort to make us feel welcome, but tried hard to upsell add ons.

The upstairs of the restaurant was a great place to sit and watch people and dogs walking by. We were able to order our food quickly. We waited for our drinks for a long time but they were tasty. Half of our orders came after a short wait and the other half took a long time. The salad had no dressing and the cod was as hard as a rock. My husband told them that it was my birthday and they didn’t do anything for it. We told them about the fish and salad and it wasn’t taken off of our receipt. We were not very happy with our experience. Glad others had a better time.

Not much to choose from the food menu and prices are rather high for the quality but can’t complain because most tourist places have the same problem. Fries we had were salty and the burger patty was thin and overdone. Choose to sit outside. Wings are a safe bet and it’s best to buy jugs of beer.
M	Maddie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing!! I loved the fish & chips, one of the best I’ve had! The crispy mozzarella was also delicious and an amazing appetizer! My dad said the ruben was the best he’s had in his whole life and won’t stop talking about how great the mustard on it was! Would definitely recommend!!
